I. Minecraft Deep Dark Release Date

Minecraft Deep Dark cave is an upcoming special biome found under y=0. That's how to find Deep Dark in Minecraft. However, it's still unknown how to go to the Deep Dark Minecraft. This endless cave is scheduled to come to Minecraft in Update 1.9 in 2022.

The new biome of Deep Dark will have many chests for Minecraft players to loot when exploring this cave. Besides, it will have a new structure called the Warden's Cabin. Moreover, you also find tons of the Warden and the sculk blocks in the deep dark cave of Minecraft.

II. Minecraft Deep Dark Mobs

Minecraft Deep Dark warden is the new mob in the upcoming Wild Update. This mob inhabits the Deep Dark Cave biome of this version. Minecraft players are highly anticipating this new mini-boss. These mobs are bipedal guardians. It's the first blind mob to arrive in the game.

The mobs locate players by hearing their vibrations and movements and attack them. They are pretty dangerous, making the expiration in these caves are more challenging and risky. These blind monsters spawn underground, so they also have a good sense of smell. Minecraft wardens can detect players close to them by smelling their scent.

III. Sculk Blocks, Sensors, And Shriekers

The new biome has many new features, such as Sculk blocks, sensors, and shriekers. They are also new additions in Minecraft that you haven't seen before. These features make the Deep Dark biome unique and highly awaited. Check them out below.

Sculk Blocks

The new deep dark caves in the Wild Update are also the home of Sculk Blocks. You can see these dark blue blocks almost everywhere in this new biome. It may look like corrupted grasses. These blocks give these caves a dark theme to make them look mysterious and dangerous.

Besides, the dark environment these blocks create is also one of the main reasons why the warden mobs in this biome are blind. Besides, the mobs dying on Sculk Blocks also make them spread and vine out onto surrounding blocks and stones.

Sculk Blocks
Sculk Blocks spawn everywhere in this new biome and make it look darker.

Sculk Sensors

In addition to Sculk Blocks, Sculk Sensors are also featured living things inside deep dark caves. Like Minecraft warden mobs in this biome, these sensors are also blind. But their sense of hearing also develops strongly.

These flora species can 'hear' players and track them down when they move and make the noise inside these dark caves. So, you should crouch while moving to reduce the noise from walking to avoid being tracked by Sculk Sensors. When you activate these sensors, they will release a Redstone signal.

Sculk Sensors
Sculk Sensors can hear the noise you create and track you down.

Sculk Shriekers

The Sculk sensors follow and track down players to locate them. Then, they send these signals to activate a device. Then, the device will release Sculk Shriekers. These features work as an alarming system in dark caves, notifying mobs in this dark work about the invasion of outsiders in their habitats.

If you set off many Sculk Shriekers in a small area in a short time, you put yourself in danger. Letting dangerous enemy mobs know your location in their habitats can result in death. So, try to avoid being tracked, followed, and hunted in such a dark and strange region.

Sculkshriekers
Don't activate too many Sculk Shriekers when exploring the underground biome.

Bonus: The Wild Update

Apart from the Dark Deep biome, Minecraft also has a new Swamp biome in Update 1.9. The Wild Update 1.9 will also bring Frog into the game. There are three species of frogs coming to Minecraft, including default, tropical, and snowy frog. These new living species are among the most anticipated contents in the upcoming version.

In addition to new mobs, biomes, and blocks, the Wild Update also brings players a new feature, namely carrying chests. You can put the chest on your boat and bring items and loots around. Besides, you can expect to experience a new Darkness effect.

Those are things you need to know about Minecraft Deep Dark additions in the Wild Update 1.9. These interesting additions will be available to experience soon. Just stay updated.

Minecraft Llama is a wild animal with many uses. You can get this animal from many biomes, including windswept hills and the savanna plateau. Players can also find it in the savanna‌ biome in the Bedrock Edition only. But make sure that you have the required food to tame and breed it. Let's find out what Llamas eat in Minecraft to make breeding work more easily.

Llamas in Minecraft eat wheat and hay bale.

I. What Do Llamas Eat In Minecraft?

Hay bale and wheat are the two main food for Llama in Minecraft. But you need to use these foods for different purposes. For example, you need to use hay bale for the Minecraft Llama breed. This food helps activate the love mode of Llamas in Minecraft. Meanwhile, wheat can recover Llamas' health and make the baby llamas grow faster.

Here are locations and how to get these foods for Minecraft Llamas.

 • Wheat

Wheat is a renewable item in Minecraft. You can easily obtain it from farming works or opening chests in many locations, such as Igloo houses, Pillager Outposts, Shipwrecks, and Dungeons. It also spawns in the chests in Underwater ruins, villages, and Woodland mansions.

Minecraft players are able to grow wheat from its seeds collected by farming. This plant has totally eight phases of growth. Harvest them when they are fully grown to collect their seeds. You will get more seeds when using Fortune-enchanted tools in harvesting works.

You Can Grow Wheat
You can grow wheat and collect it in the wild in Minecraft.
 • Hay bale

You can collect Minecraft hay bale in plains villages. It also appears in savanna and desert villages but at a lower spawning rate. You should use the hoe to collect hay bale blocks faster. Or else, Minecraft players can farm it with other tools.

In addition, you can also craft a hay bale block by using nine wheat items and a crafting table. Conversely, Minecraft also allows players to break a hay bale block to get nine wheat items. This block can be used as a wheat's compact storage.

Hay Bale
Minecraft players can collect hay bale blocks in the wild or craft them from wheat items.

II. How To Get Llamas In Minecraft

Llamas is a wild animal in Minecraft world. Therefore, you need to tame it if you haven't got any Llamas in your house. It's pretty easy to tame a Llama in Minecraft. Follow these steps to get wild Llamas and lead them to your house.

 • Go to the favorite biome of Llamas and find one.
 • Approach the animal carefully.
 • Press the 'Use' button to ride it.
 • Ride the Llama repeatedly until a 'Heart' icon appears on the screen.

When you see the 'Heart' icon, the Llama is already tamed successfully. Then, you can lead it to your house. If the Temper stat is high, you have a better chance to tame this animal.

Tame A Llamas
It's very easy to tame a Llama in Minecraft, but you need a high Temper stat.

III. How To Breed Llamas In Minecraft

When you have some adult Llamas in your house, you can breed them to have baby Llamas to raise. To breed Llamas in this game, you need to simply feed two Llamas parents with 1 - 3 hay bale blocks. The baby Llamas will take on the appearance of their parents randomly.

When the offspring is born, you need to feed it with wheat to make it grow faster. Their strength status is also chosen randomly which is an integer between one and the strength status of the stronger parent. Make sure that you have enough food for both parent Llamas and their offspring.

Bread Llamas
To breed Llamas in Minecraft, players need to feed the parent animals with three hay bale blocks.

IV. How To Ride A Llama In Minecraft

Llamas are among the best ridable mobs in Minecraft but their taming process depends on the Temper stats of players. If your Temper bar is too low, you cannot ride the Llamas. Therefore, you can only ride a Llamas if your Temper is high enough.

Then, approach the wild Llama with nothing in your hands and right-click on it. After taming the animal, players can put carpets on their Llamas to ride them.

Make A Carpet To Put On Them

Those are all you need to know about the taming and breeding works with Llamas in Minecraft. Before breeding them, you need to know what Llamas eat in Minecraft. It's the very first step to having a Llama herd in this game.

<![CDATA[Top 5 Unused Mobs In Minecraft That Should Be Added In 1.19 Update]]> https://gurugamer.com/pc-console/unused-mobs-in-minecraft-19519 Wed, 22 Dec 2021 02:11:00 +0000 https://gurugamer.com/pc-console/unused-mobs-in-minecraft-19519
There are quite a few unused mobs in Minecraft's files, however, these five mobs are probably the most interesting and should be added into the game.]]>

Since the beginning of Minecraft's development, there have been a number of mobs added to the game but are not actually implemented in either Survival or Creative. Some of them are leftover from removed features, or simply placeholders for new features. However, they are all unique and their implementation into Minecraft would definitely make the game more exciting.

In this article, we are going to showcase the top 5 unused mobs in Minecraft that should be added in the 1.19 update.

1. Giants

Giants are unused, over-sized mobs that look like zombies. They previously spawned naturally in Indev, which is over a decade ago. The Giant mob uses a six-times-enlarged zombie model, which is 12 blocks tall - this makes them the tallest mob in the game.

Giant Zombies
The Giant Zombies could be Minecraft overworld's biggest challenge.

Unlike zombies, Giants are not actually undead and do not burn in sunlight or get damaged by healing potions. Their gigantic size also results in a large HP bar and high damage. Overall, giants should be a decent mob to spawn on mountains or caves - these areas are currently pretty barren.

2. Zombie Horse

A zombie horse is an unused variant of the regular horse. Like zombies, zombie horses are green-skinned and their eyes are completely black. They share the same strengths and weaknesses as zombies, which makes them take damage from a potion of healing and affected by the Smite enchantment.

Zombie Horse
Zombie Horse is probably the most likely to be added amongst unused mobs in Minecraft.

It is actually pretty weird that we got the completely outlandish skeleton horse, but the zombie horse is not released yet. They are amongst the fastest horses in Minecraft.

3. Killer Bunny

The killer bunny is an aggressive variant of the rabbit exclusive to Java Edition that is hostile toward players, foxes, and wolves. It is a white rabbit with blood-red eyes that are horizontal, unlike the usual vertical eyes of a normal rabbit.

Killer Bunny
The Killer Bunny is really fast and dangerous.

These bunnies hit hard and move very fast, dealing 8 damage at normal difficulty. They can detect players in a 16 blocks radius and automatically attack them, which is super dangerous. The killer bunny could be a good addition to various structures, as they are a much more dynamic type of trap comparing to TNTs.

4. Illusioner

Illusioners are an unused type of illager that casts spells and is armed with a bow. They can use various spells when engaged and is super dangerous in both offense and defense. Firstly, it can hit the player with the Blindness effect that lasts for 20 seconds, which clouds the player's vision with black fog.

Illusioner Minecraft Illusions
Illusioner is the only magic user amongst unused mobs in Minecraft.

Afterward, it can cast an Invisibility effect on itself that lasts 60 seconds. They can even recast the ability when its duration runs out. This ability also creates 4 false duplicates to confuse the player. Overall, there are barely any caster or mage in Minecraft outside of the Evoker. The addition of the Illusioner to an illager group would definitely make Minecraft combat more exciting.

5. Elder Guardian Ghost

The elder guardian ghost is another unused mob in Minecraft who has the same model and texture as the elder guardian, with some minimal differences. It is probably a removed feature of the normal Elder Guardian, as they behave literally the same but are a bit weaker.

Elder Guardian Ghost
Elder Guardian Ghost is transparent.

Minecraft could definitely bring this mob back, as there are hardly any mob variants underwater.

Can you tame a goat in Minecraft 1.18? See how you can use this mob and whether it is tameable here.]]>

The devilish goats in Minecraft have more depths than their cute exterior. Having the ability to jump considerable heights and are often found in mountain biomes, the goats are among the newest mobs in the game. However, can you tame a goat in Minecraft?

Besides this question, we will also clarify how ramming and Screaming Goats work as well as how to get and use Goat Horns.

Goat Minecraft
Can you tame a goat in Minecraft and what can you use it for?

How to tame a Goat in Minecraft 1.18

Goats are neutral mobs that are untamable. However, you can instead learn how to breed goats in Minecraft to increase their quantity.

Other mobs that cannot be tamed in Minecraft 1.18 are Rabbit, Glow Squid, Strider, and Axolotl.

1. How to breed Goats in Minecraft

You can feed the goats Wheat to make them enter the “Love mode”. If two goats nearby both are in the Love mode, they will be able to procreate and bear a baby Goat.

This is basically how breeding in Minecraft works. From breeding Bees, Axolotls, to Chickens, the process is the same with the only difference is what kind of food you must use.

Breed Goat
You cannot tame a goat in Minecraft, but you may breed them instead.

On another hand, Goats will follow the player if they hold Wheat in their hand. This can help bring two Goats closer together. Players can also feed Wheat to the baby Goat to make its growth rate speed up.

2. Uses of Minecraft goats

Goats are primarily used as a source of milk. You only need to right-click on the Goat with an empty bucket to milk the goat.

Unlike horses, goats cannot be ridden. That’s why apart from getting milk, this mob is not too practical to keep around. Those who want to keep it as a pet sadly cannot do it as how to tame a goat in Minecraft is currently unavailable.

Goat ramming and Screaming Goats

Every goat in Minecraft has an internal timer varying from 30 to 300 seconds. Once the time elapses, the Goat will ram a player or mob (except for Goats) if the target has not made a move in that time period.

Although a Goat does not deal much damage when ramming something, it can knock you far back and can lead to some falls, even death. Baby Goats can also ram but they do not knock the target too far.

Screaming Goat
There’s a chance of 1 Screaming Goats among 50 Goats.

They look like other Goats, except for the fact that they periodically make loud noises with their screams. Screaming Goats also ram much more frequently than the regular variant. Their internal timer ranges only from 5 to 15 seconds.

How to get Goat Horns

Goat Horns only exist in Minecraft Bedrock Edition. Players who use Java Edition cannot collect this item. Goat horns were not available in Minecraft 1.17 either, so you must update your game to the latest version to get it.

In Bedrock, a Goat will drop one of its horns if ramming at a solid block. The circle goes on until they are left with no horns.

Goat Horn
When the players right-click with a Goat Horn in their hand, a war horn sound will play.

Minecraft parrot breeding is a topic that's been popular among the player community lately. Here is how to breed parrots in Minecraft with all the details!]]>

Parrots are a rare Minecraft mob that perches on your shoulder and can mimic sounds from nearby hostile mobs. However, similar to other animal creatures in the game, a parrot will die after a while. The only way to keep it by your side is by taming and breeding them to expand the population.

Below is our take on how to breed Parrots in Minecraft.

How to breed Parrots in Minecraft?

Currently, we cannot breed Minecraft parrots like most other mobs as they have no baby form. Although they could previously be bred by feeding cookies, this feature has been altered, making it impossible to be manually spawned.

Therefore, the best way to get more parrots now is to tame them.

1. Find Parrots in Minecraft

The location you can find Minecraft parrots is the jungle biomes where they perch on low-hanging branches and tree leaves.

Minecraft Parrot Cookie
Players can find parrots in jungle biomes.

2. Use the Seeds

Seeds are the best items to feed and tame parrots. You can tame them by giving them melon seeds, beetroot seeds, or pumpkin seeds. Select the seeds in the Hotbar and place them in.

When you feed the seeds to them, grey smoke shall appear on their head. Keep feeding them until you can see the existence of red hearts.

Once being tamed, the parrot is able to ride on the player’s shoulder and mimic the sounds of mobs nearby. For example, if there is a creeper makes a hiss near where you are, the parrot will imitate this sound. However, this feature is not considered too practical sometimes.

Melon Seeds
You can use seeds to feed and tame the Minecraft parrots.

Besides, a parrot will dance when it is near a jukebox that is playing music. When it is killed, it can drop one feather and from one to three EXP orbs.

Note: Make sure you don’t feed parrots cookies, since they will die if you do.

How to get a Spawn Egg to breed parrot in Minecraft

Meanwhile, there is a spawn egg in Minecraft named Parrot Spawn Egg. It has green color and red spots.

Not like other materials in the game, this egg cannot be crafted. You can get it from the Creative Inventory menu which is only available in Creative mode (not Survival mode). You can use this spawn egg to instantly spawn a parrot:

In Minecraft Java Edition (PC/Mac) 1.13, 1.14, 1.15, 1.16, 1.16.5, and 1.17, use “/give @p parrot_spawn_egg 1

In Minecraft Java Edition (PC/Mac) 1.12, use “/give @p spawn_egg 1 0 {EntityTag:{id:parrot}}

Minecraft cats are one of the cutest mobs whose variants fans always want to collect as many as possible. In the previous version of the game, we had to tame an ocelot in the jungle to get a normal cat. However, things have changed after the devs made ocelots their own tamable animals.

If you want to have all Minecraft cats, you have come to the right article.

All Cats In Minecraft
Here's a guide to getting all Minecraft cats!

All 11 cats in Minecraft

Cats share the same model as ocelots but are actually smaller. Currently, there are 11 cats in Minecraft in total.

Below are all Minecraft cat colors and their names in the game:

 1. Black (black with orange eyes)
 2. British Shorthair (silver with yellow eyes)
 3. Calico (white, dark brown and orange with blue and yellow eyes)
 4. Jellie (gray and white with gray-green eyes)
 5. Persian (creamy with blue eyes and flat faces)
 6. Ragdoll (white and soft amber with blue eyes)
 7. Red (orange and white with green eyes)
 8. Siamese (white and pale brown with blue eyes)
 9. Tabby (brown and white with yellow eyes)
 10. Tuxedo (black and white with green eyes)
 11. White (white with light blue and yellow eyes)

Siamese cats are the rarest cat in Minecraft. The most common cat in Minecraft can be any of the other breeds including tabby, tuxedo, calico...

Siamese Cat Minecraft
Among all Minecraft cat colors, Siamese is the rarest breed.

In Bedrock Edition, half of all Minecraft cats spawning during a full moon will be Black.

The passive mob comes in different fur and eye colors, making it irresistible for players to not want at least one. You can get all of them if you follow our instructions below.

How to get all cats in Minecraft

To get all Minecraft cats, you have to find them, know how to tame cat Minecraft, then breed them.

1. Find cats in villages

Stray cats can be found in villages or swamp huts. Witch huts can have some black cats also.

Head to villages with at least one villager and four beds and roam around to find your cats. There is a maximum of ten cats per village.

Cats Minecraft
You can find cats in villages or swamp huts.

Minecraft will check whether there are any stray cats in these villages and attempt to spawn once they meet the spawn conditions.

2. Tame Minecraft cats

In case the cat has already been tamed, you can just put a leash on it and bring it to your base.

Meanwhile, to tame a stray cat, hold a raw fish like salmon or cod and remain as still as possible until the cat comes close to you. Don’t forget that cats will not eat tropical fish. Feed it until hearts show up above its head and it has a collar.

Feed Cat With Raw Fish
How to tame cat Minecraft? Feed it until red hearts appear.

3. Breed cats in Minecraft

To breed Minecraft cats, feed two tamed cats a raw fish. After a few seconds, a kitten will spawn with color patterns similar to its parents.

That’s why in order to have all kinds of cats, you need to go to as many villages as possible and breed all of them for duplicates.

Note: The colors of the tamed cats’ collars can be changed with dye and flowers.

What do cats do in Minecraft?

The similarities of all Minecraft cats are they do not take fall damage and they can see you even if you have the Invisibility status effect. Moreover, cats can scare phantoms and creepers away. They hiss at phantoms that are chasing a player.

This means cats don’t just look cute but can even help you survive. Meanwhile, stray and tamed cats may act differently in some cases.

1. Stray cat

An untamed cat is naturally a naturally spawned one. Unlike stray wolves, stray cats may naturally despawn. They chase after and attack rabbits, baby turtles, and chickens at a distance of up to 15 blocks.

Although stray cats spawn in villages, they usually explore instead of remaining there.

All Minecraft Cats
You can leash stray cats.

They will run away from players, so they need to be appealed with a raw salmon or cod within 10 blocks. If you move, turn your head too fast, or stop holding the fish within 6 blocks, the cat sprints away and won’t approach you for a few seconds.

2. Tamed cat

They won’t remain at one place for long and will explore around you unless you command them to sit.

A cat usually attempts to sit on chests, bed foot, or active furnaces. Once sitting on top, it often assumes a sitting posture without a command from players. And like other mobs, cats usually enter boats close by, trapping themselves.

Cat Lying On The Bed
After sleeping on the same bed with you, there's a 70% chance the cat will bring you gifts.

Tamed cats can sleep on the bed with you and occasionally bring you gifts in the morning. The loot can vary from rabbit feet, rabbit hides, feathers, rotten flesh, raw chicken, to phantom membranes.

Animals in Minecraft are crucial components to create farms and provide resources. To attract them, players need to do the following actions.]]>

Animals are one of the main features of Minecraft, which contributes to all kinds of farms. Players can get a lot of items from animals... and with breeding, the possibilities are endless. However, it is not that simple to tame and lead animals around. In this article, we are going to showcase how to attract animals in Minecraft and make them follow the player.

1. Sheep, goats, cows, and mooshrooms

Sheep, goats, cows, and mooshrooms are the "passive animals" that players often come across. Overall, they are some of the best sources of food farms in Minecraft, alongside other resources like wool or suspicious stew.

To attract them, players only need to hold wheat in one of their hands.

2. Horses, llamas, mules, and donkeys

Minecraft ridable animals such as horses, llamas, mules, and donkeys are attracted to golden apples and golden carrots. Using these items, players can lure them around. Apart from that, they can also be lured using wheat.

Overall, horse is one of the most useful animals in Minecraft.

3. Chickens

While chicken meat is not as filling as sheep, goats, or cow's, their automatic farms are very easy to create. Furthermore, they also spawn eggs, which can be used to create high tier food items. This is why taming chicken is something players often do.

To lure chickens around, just hold wheat in one hand while standing in their vicinity.

4. Pandas

Panda breeding in Minecraft is fairly hard to do, however, luring them is actually fairly simple. To get their attention, players just need to hold the bamboo in their hands.

5. Pigs

Pigs are actually part of both the "passive" and "ridable" categories. They can be attracted using carrots. By combining a carrot with a fishing rod, players can create a carrot on a stick to ride the pigs in any direction they want.

However, pigs are the slowest rides in Minecraft so don't expect much from them. Meanwhile, you should breed pigs to make use of this food source.

6. Striders

Striders are the only passive mobs you can find in the Nether and the most unique animals in Minecraft. They eat warped fungus and will follow the players if they are holding it. Furthermore, players can also create a Warped fungus on a stick to ride striders around.

Due to their immunity to lava, they are the best ride you can get in the Nether.

7. Bees

Bees are one of the more recent mobs added to Minecraft. They are attracted to flowers and will follow any player with flowers in their hands. Bees pollinate plants and make honey - they are one of the more useful components in creating a self-sustaining farm.

You can learn how to harvest bees in Minecraft here.

8. Cats and ocelot

Some items in Minecraft are ultra rare and can only be found as mob drops. Check this post to find out more about them.]]>

There are a lot of creatures (or mobs) to interact with in Minecraft. Most of them contain items that drop when killed. While some items are commonplace, others are rare and crucial resources that cannot be found anywhere else. In this article, we are going to list the top 5 most valuable mob drops in Minecraft.

5. Evokers - Totem of Undying

A totem of undying is an uncommon combat item that can save holders from death. It only drops from evokers, which spawn in woodland mansions and raids. The totem will trigger if players take fatal damage while holding it in their off-hand on main-hand slot.

When activated, the totem of undying restores 1 HP, removes all existing status effects. Afterward, it grants 40‌ or 45‌ seconds of Regeneration II, 40 seconds of Fire Resistance I and 5 seconds of Absorption II. This item is crucial in hardcore playthroughs.

Totems Of Undying are essential mob drops in Minecraft, especially in the hardest mode.

4. Enderman - Ender Pearls

Enderman is one of the most creepy mobs in Minecraft. They are moderately dangerous and will attack the player if stared at for too long. Occasionally, Enderman drops Ender Pearls.

These Ender Pearls allow players to teleports and create Eye of Enders, which locates strongholds. Unless you are cheating, by using commands to locate buildings, an Eye of Ender is required to beat Minecraft.

3. Shulker - Shulker Shells

Shulkers are the only mob that populates Minecraft's End Cities. Despite appearance, they are super dangerous mobs that can levitate the player. When killed, players can loot their shulker shells, which can be crafted into shulker boxes that transport and store items.

Shulker Boxes can store 30 stacks worth of items. Afterward, players can put the box in their inventory, taking only one space. These are the most useful mob drops in Minecraft.

2. Blaze - Blaze rods

Blaze rod is the other item that is needed to craft the Eye of Ender. Without it, it is impossible to progress further in Minecraft. They are dropped from a hostile mob in the Nether called Blaze, which is commonly found in the Nether Fortress.

Players can get blaze powder from blaze rods, which is the main component to fuel brewing stands and brew strength potions.

1. Wither - Nether Star

Wither is an optional boss in Minecraft, which can be created by players using Soul Sands and Wither Skulls. It is the hardest boss in the game currently, and by killing it, players will get the Nether Star.

The Nether Star can be crafted into a beacon to give all players in the vicinity massive powerups. It is one of the biggest game-changing items in Minecraft that every player wants to get. The Nether star also serves as a badge of accomplishment for beating the Wither. Beating this dangerous mob need a lot of preparations, especially if you are new to Minecraft.

The new Warden mob is going to be the biggest challenge a Minecraft player could face. Check this post to find out more about them.]]>

Mojang has recently hosted Minecraft Live 2021, the game's biggest event of the year. During the stream, the next major update "The Wild" was announced officially. Quite a few features of the Caves & Cliff 2 update have been moved to The Wild, including the next major boss, the Warden. In this article, we are going to list out everything you need to know about the new Warden mob in Minecraft after The Wild update.

Table of Contents

 • 1. Where does the Warden spawn?
 • 2. How strong is the Warden?
 • 3. How to deal with the Wardens?

1. Where does the Warden spawn?

The Warden in Minecraft will appear in deep dark cave biomes. Apparently, they are going to be the only mob there. This will be the first time in Minecraft that a biome has only a single mob spawn naturally. As the biome does not have any light, it might actually be a good idea that no mobs ever spawn.

Warden mob in Minecraft
Warden mob in Minecraft will spawn in deep biomes.

In last year's Minecraft Live 2020, Mojang reveals that the Warden can spawn anywhere in the deep dark caves, roaming around looking for players. This year's version goes deeper into its origin, with the Warden spawning in an ancient city, a new structure of Minecraft 1.19.

Sculk blocks like the Shriekers can summon the Warden if activated too many times. It also applies a new "darkness" effect that darkens the players' screen, making the warden encounter more difficult.

2. How strong is the Warden?

Unlike the Wither and Ender Dragon, Mojang wants to make the Warden some sort of natural calamity instead of a boss the player needs to defeat. It will be much stronger than the two bosses in Minecraft.

Below are the Warden's supposed stats:

 • It can kill a player wearing full netherite armor in two hits (any weaker armor or no armor will result in the player being killed in 1 hit). Like hoglins, Wardens' attacks also knock their enemies back.
 • It is a tank, with both high HP (84+) and damage reduction. A fully charged bow does 10 hp, a fully charged netherite sword swing does 8 hp.

To discourage players from engaging the boss, the developer said that the Warden is not going to drop anything. Minecraft players are still going to take up the challenge, of course.

Minecraft Warden
Warden's horns are actually its ears.

3. How to deal with the Wardens?

The Warden is blind and can be distracted by vibrations. To shake them off your trails, just throw snowballs or shoot arrows away from the Warden to distract it. Afterward, sneak away. It is unclear if the Warden mob in Minecraft would be able to destroy blocks or not, but based on some of the interviews, the answer is likely to be yes.

As they are highly resistant to weapon damage, the usual method of trapping like TNT and lava would definitely be the safest way. Take advantage of their AI and lure them into a Lava pit or something. It is unlikely that this mob would be immune to fire.

These are the top 3 most dangerous flying mobs in Minecraft and they can be very tricky to deal with if you don't know how to.]]>

The Minecraft survival mode is not a forgiving world to live in at all as there are dozens of mobs are out there trying to kill you. Among all the mobs in Minecraft, only a small number of them are flying mobs, but these creatures can be much more dangerous than other mobs. In this article, we will show you the most dangerous flying mobs in Minecraft as well as how to deal with their attack.

1. Ghast

Ghasts are big, white floating mobs that can be found in the Nether. These mobs are very aggressive and they will shoot fireballs at players on sight. Players will almost always die if they get hit by a fireball.

You can detect Ghasts from far away by their high-pitched noises and cries. To defeat a Ghast, you can use a ranged weapon or deflect fireballs back at the. You can defect Ghast's fireball using melee weapons, projectiles, fishing lures.

Ghast Minecraft

2. Phantom

Phantoms are hostile flying mobs in Minecraft that appear when players haven't slept for 3 days. They go in packs of 1 to 4. They are one of the fastest mobs in Minecraft and they can deal significant damage to players, making it really hard to deal with them. These creatures can also travel underwater and cannot drown.

However, there is one simple way to deal with Phantoms, using cats. Phantoms are afraid of cats so they will try to stay away at least 16 blocks away.

3. Blaze

Blazes are unique mobs that only spawn in the Nether Fortress. They drop Blaze Rods, which is an important ingredient to make Healing Potion and other essential items. Blazes' attack shot 3 fireballs at players from up to 48 blocks away. When it takes damage, it will call nearby Blazes to attack the attacker. If players touch a Blaze, they will take 6 damage.

Blazes' fireballs cannot be deflected but can be blocked by a shield. The best way to deal with this flying mob is to deal damage from far away using a bow. It's also easier to dodge their fireballs from a long distance.

Farming items from mobs is one of the main gameplay mechanics in Minecraft. However, it is best to prioritize these 5 mobs for the best drops.]]>

Mob farms are one of the most useful builds that a Minecraft player can create. They provide endless resources and XP - two things every player needs to be able to defeat the difficult late-game bosses. However, not all mobs are equal - some have much better drops than others. In this article, we are going to showcase the 5 best mobs to farm items in Minecraft.

5. Skeletons

Skeleton farms are one of the easiest and most efficient farms a player can have. The variety of drops they produce is the main reason. Below is their droplist:

 • 0–2 bones (+1 to +3 with Looting).
 • 0–2 arrows (+1 to +3 with Looting).
 • Any naturally spawned equipment (including the bow) has an 8.5% chance of dropping if killed by the player (9.5% with Looting I, 10.5% with Looting II, and 11.5% with Looting III). It is damaged and sometimes enchanted.
 • 5 XP
Skeleton
Skeleton is one of the best mobs to farm items in Minecraft in the early game.

With a skeleton farm, you will never have to craft arrows anymore, and if you are lucky, they can even spawn an infinity bow. The bones can be used to create bonemeal, which results in higher food production.

4. Blazes

As Blaze Rods are one of the essential items in Minecraft, Blazes are an amazing mob to farm. Building a farm in the dangerous Nether is pretty tricky but definitely worth the trouble. Below is their droplist:

 • 0–1 blaze rods (0-4 with Looting III)
 • 10 XP

While Blazes do not have as big a droplist as the skeletons, blaze rods are much more crucial as a drop. They act as an essential ingredient in brewing, as a fuel for both brewing and smelting, and for crafting the eye of ender that helps the player to conquer the End.

Blazes
Blazes are killed for their rare drops.

3. Pigs/Cows

Pigs and cows are the two best mobs to farm for food in Minecraft. Below is their drop lists:

 • Pig drops 1–3 raw porkchop or cooked porkchop if killed while on fire (1-6 with Looting III).
 • Cow drops 0–2 leather (0-5 with Looting III) and 1–3 raw beef or steak if killed while on fire (1-6 with Looting III).

Cooked porkchops and steaks are some of the most efficient food a player can have in their inventory.

Pigs/Cows
Pigs/Cows are amongst the best food source to farm items in Minecraft.

2. Piglin Bartering

This is the only farm on this list that does not involve killing. Adult piglins can trade gold ingots for certain items when a gold ingot is dropped near them or the player uses it while looking at them. The piglin "examines" the ingot for six‌ to eight seconds, then drops a random item from the chart.

This farm makes use of the bartering mechanic of Piglins, which produce tons of items in exchange for gold. There are tons of rare items in the drop list, including the rare crying obsidian and the useful ender pearl.

Piglin Bartering
Piglin Bartering can yield great results.

1. Enderman

Enderman is one of the most iconic mobs in Minecraft. They provide the iconic Ender Pearl, which allows players to teleport when thrown. With enough Protection, Feather Falling, enough food and enough ender pearls, a player can travel a long distance quickly.

You also need to beat it to complete the game. Ender Pearl can be crafted into Eyes of Ender that locates Stronghold.

Frogs are one of the new mobs to be added in the Wild Update. See their locations and variants in Minecraft!]]>

Minecraft The Wild update is bringing a new biome to fans and it is called the mangrove swamp. In this biome, mangrove trees grow from propagules that players can plant either on land or in water. They have a distinctive shape as the roots protrude in arches into the surrounding area. You can chop mangrove trees down to get a new kind of wood

Another exciting upcoming feature in The Wild is the tiny fireflies that fly around swamp biomes, glowing in the dark and sometimes becoming the snacks for frogs. Minecraft frog is one of The Wild update new mobs. Here’s everything to know about the animal’s locations and variants in the game.

Frog
Frogs are coming as one of the new mobs in the open world game.

Where to find Minecraft frogs

As frogs are coming live in Minecraft with the revamped swamp biome, fans can expect to see frogs mostly near bodies of water in the swamps.

Also according to Mojang, the frogs love sitting on lily pads and may try to also sit on massive drip leaves. Unfortunately, the leaves seem not sturdy enough for things to sit on, so these may slide off.

Minecraft Swamp
Players will have the chance to explore a newly revamped biome.

We will have to wait until the frogs do come into existence as the swamp is not the only place they can live.

Minecraft frog variants

Currently, there are three kinds of Minecraft frogs which live in different biomes:

 • Snowy frogs
 • Tropical frogs
 • Swamp frogs

Tadpoles can turn into any of these frog variants as they mature, depending on the temperature that the biome where they grow has.

Minecraft Frogs
There are three types of Minecraft frogs you will come across and have the chance to farm using tadpoles.

In the Minecraft Live stream, the game director, Agnes Larsson, explained that each variant of the frogs will have special characteristics and be useful to players in some way. The latter is still in the midst of working and the specifics will be revealed later by the team.

Minecraft tadpoles

Players cannot get any frog without tadpoles. Therefore, just expect to see swamp waters writhing with life when The Wild update is finally up for grabs. Players can scoop up the tadpoles into buckets and take them anywhere, letting them relocate to other biomes and making it easier to raise more than one frog variant.

3 new mobs have been confirmed for the upcoming Minecraft: The Wild update. Check this post to find out more about them and their abilities.]]>

Mojang is constantly upgrading Minecraft to make the game fresh for fans, and one of the biggest new additions is the mobs. During the recent Minecraft Live 2021, they have just revealed the Wild Update, which follows Caves & Cliffs Part 2. In this article, we are going to reveal the three new mobs in Minecraft: The Wild Update.

Table of Contents

 • 1 - Frog
 • 2 - Allay
 • 3 - Warden

1 - Frog

The Frogs was going to be the first amphibian mob in Minecraft, however, its swamp biome lost 2019's biome vote. That delayed the biome's release to 2022. It is going to be the main feature of The Wild Update, alongside mangrove trees, frogs, fireflies, mud blocks, mud bricks, and more.

Minecraft the wild
Minecraft: The Wild Update will feature the frogs.

There will be three different variants of frogs, mostly based on biomes' temperature: default, tropical, and snowy. They will often be found in swamps, jumping on lily pads and big drip leaves. Mojang hints that every frog type will have different usage in Minecraft, but other than that, there has been no revelation.

The snowy frogs are definitely the weirdest, as cold blooded animals like them often hibernate in the winter. Tadpoles are going to be added as the baby variant of frogs. Fireflies, part of the swamp biomes, are going to be the frogs' source of food.

2 - Allay

As expected, the Allay has won the Minecraft mob vote 2021. Despite tremendous competition from Copper Golem, it emerges on top of the poll via sponsorship of popular streamers. Overall, Allay is not based on any real-life animal. It is a flying vex-like mob that collects items for players.

Minecraft Allay Winner
Minecraft Allay is by far the best out of the three contestants.

With its addition, the item collection process will be simplified greatly. Currently, to make an automatic item collection system, players would need to know redstone design and work on gadgets like hoppers and item sorters. This is one of the hardest things to do in the game - more challenging than any boss.

3 - Warden

Alongside the Deep Dark Caves, Mojang has delayed the Warden's debut to Minecraft 1.19 The Wild. This will give them more time to work and polish the biome. The Warden will be the main enemies in the deepest reaches of the world.

Minecraft Warden
Minecraft Warden is going to have twice as much health as the Ender Dragon.

Apparently, the Warden is no longer a common mob that you can find. Developer Kingbdogz reveals that it is going to be a boss-tier enemy of sorts, with 500 hearts. If that happens, the Warden will replace the Ender Dragon and Wither and become the most dangerous mob in Minecraft.

Fighting the Warden is going to be tricky, as players will have to navigate a fairly dark and rough terrain. At least the thing is blind - players can just sneak past it instead of fighting.

The people have made their choice and Allay will officially become the next mob to be in Minecraft in 2022 updates.]]>

The Minecraft Mob Vote is an annual event where Mojang lets players decide which mob will be in the next update. In the Minecraft Mob Vote 2021, they presented to us 3 new mobs: Glare, Allay, and Cooper Golem. After 2 rounds of voting, Allay has become the winner of the Minecraft Mob Vote 2021.

Minecraft Mob Vote 2021 results

In the first voting round among Glare, Allay, and Cooper Golem, the mob who get the least vote will be disqualified, while the two remaining will advance to the final voting round. Glare only got 11.2% of the votes so Allay and Cooper Golem are 2 in the final.

In the final round, Allay got 54.3% of the votes, making it the final winner and it will be added to Minecraft in the next update.

What Allay does in Minecraft?

Allay is a blue flying mob that will help you collect items you give to it. The mob loves music so it is attracted to note blocks. Many players misunderstood that Allay duplicates items, but it actually only collects the same items.

When will Allay come to Minecraft?

Allay will be coming to Minecraft in 2022 with the 1.19 update, which has been announced as the Wild Update. In this new update, players can expect swamp biome, the long-awaited mini-boss, the Warden, and the brand new frog mobs.

Glare Vs Allay Vs Copper Golem - who would win the popularity battle in the upcoming Minecraft Live 2021? Check this post to find out more!]]>

Per tradition, Mojang has once again put the new mob addition for the next update to a vote. Last year we got a three way fight between the Glow Squid, Iceologer, and Moobloom... with the first one coming out victorious. This year, the competition is going to be even fiercer, with three even better mobs: Glare vs Allay vs Copper Golem. In this article, we are going to showcase all three mobs alongside their pros and cons.

Table of Contents

 • 1 - Glare
 • 2 - Allay
 • 3 - Copper Golem
 • 4 - Glare Vs Allay Vs Copper Golem, which should you pick?
Copper Golem Vs Allay Vs Glare
Glare Vs Allay Vs Copper Golem in Minecraft Live Vote 2021

1 - Glare

The Minecraft mob Glare would be a useful companion to have when exploring dark places in the upcoming Caves & Cliff update 2. It tells you when you enter a dark enough area that monsters can spawn... by throwing a fit.

However, this feature is utterly useless for Java players. They can just press the F3 function key to show the debug menu and check the light source data. This lets them determine if an area is dark enough for monsters to spawn... without the need for Glare. Bedrock players might enjoy this mob.

Minecraft Glare

2 - Allay

Allay would be a great addition to improve your automation process. If you give it an item, the Allay will go away and collect matching ones for you. Furthermore, the Allay likes music - they would drop the item they gathered up near a note block.

This is by far the best Minecraft companion one can ask for. Using note blocks and pick-up stations, you can have a network of allays to transport items through the air directly from farms. Additionally, they can sort previously unsortable items... due to their ability to pick up unstackable items like armor, tools, and weapons.

Minecraft Allay

3 - Copper Golem

The Minecraft Mob Copper Gollem is the only one out of the 3 that you can craft yourself. However, once created, it needs to keep moving to avoid oxidizing and turning into a statue.

The copper golem's remaining feature is that it loves to randomly press any copper buttons it encountered. This item will also be added to the game if this mob wins.

Copper Golems will be useful in controlling Redstone contraptions. They will introduce a true RNG feature into Minecraft, as the buttons it presses are random.

Copper Golem
Copper Golem in Minecraft

4 - Glare Vs Allay Vs Copper Golem, which should you pick?

Overall, while all three mobs are useful in their own way, the main battle would probably be between the Allay and Copper Golem. The Glare is literally useless to half the player base, which is a huge design problem.

While the Copper Golems are easier to use and craft, the Allays' air-drone network also has potential. However, the Copper Golem's fatal weakness of oxidizing is rather annoying... while the Allay can keep their work up indefinitely. This is why Gurugamer picks the Allay as the best mob to add in Minecraft Live 2021.

Allay
Allay is the biggest candidate right now.

Riding mobs is the best way to move around in Minecraft. Here are the rankings for the ridable mobs in Minecraft and how you can get them in game.]]>

As Minecraft has a big open world, taming a pet and ride it is a good method to travel around faster. In this article, we are going to list out all the rideable mobs in Minecraft to see which one of them is the best. To ride any mob on this list, just craft a saddle and put it on them.

Overall, the roster of rideable mobs in Minecraft is fairly limited. If needed, players can download some of the Minecraft mods that add more mobs - with certain mods installed, players can even ride dragons.

Table of Contents

 • 1 - Skeleton Horse
 • 2 - Horse
 • 3 - Strider
 • 4 - Mule
 • 5 - Donkey
 • 6 - Pig
 • 7 - Llama
Skeleton Horse
Skeleton Horses are the best rideable mobs in Minecraft.

1 - Skeleton Horse

The Skeleton Horse is identical stat-wise to a normal horse overall. However, they are much, much rarer - you can only get one skeleton horse in Minecraft when lightning strikes a horse. Furthermore, it becomes a skeleton trap horses.

Skeleton Horse
Minecraft Skeleton Horse

When struck, the skeleton trap horse transforms into a skeleton horseman, which spawns three more skeleton horsemen in the vicinity. Each skeleton is equipped with an enchanted iron helmet and an enchanted bow, and has damage immunity for 3 seconds after spawning. To get the horse, you will need to kill the rider.

The reason why skeleton horse is better than a normal horse is that it can be used underwater. You can also flex your gameplay screenshots to others, as a lot of players haven't heard about this mob before.

How to get Skeleton Horses: using consoles to turn the weather into lightning storms then wander around the area for the horse.

2 - Horse

Nothing beats a normal horse when exploring. They are pretty common in a Minecraft world so players won't have much trouble locating them. Each horse's speed and jump are actually randomized. Therefore, if you are lucky, you can find a horse that jumps higher and runs faster than the others.

Furthermore, horses can equip armor for greater protection. This makes them better for combat, as an armored horse is a tough target to take down. There are leather, iron, gold, and diamond horse armor in Minecraft, with Diamond being the highest protection. Unlike player armor, horse armor does not have durability. This means a single horse armor can be used infinitely unless destroyed.

How to get horses: Horses spawn in plains and savannas in herds of 2–6

Minecraft Horse

3 - Strider

The Strider is a unique mob that spawns only in the Nether. Because of that, when it comes to Nether travel, nothing beats it because of their immunity to lava. Unlike most mobs, striders can walk on top of lava without sinking. This allows players to navigate the Nether as they see fit, without having to worry about falling to their deaths.

They eat warped fungus, therefore, to control Striders, players need to put warped fungus on a stick and dangle it before their eyes. The player can ride on an adult strider using a saddle and can attach them to leads.

Using the warped fungus on a stick while riding a Strider makes it run faster at the cost of 1 durability.

How to get Striders: two to four striders spawn on spaces of lava in the nether. You might need a few items with fire resistance enchantments to reach and tame them.

Strider

4 - Mule

Mules are infertile offspring of horses and donkeys that, when tamed, can be ridden and equipped with chests. They do not spawn naturally - you can only get them by breeding horses and donkeys. Despite being similar to the donkey, mules can actually jump higher and run faster. This makes them the best candidate for carrying your loot chests.

How to get mules: To activate love mode between a horse and a mule, the player will have to feed them a Golden Apple or a Golden Carrot. They will then run towards each other, and a baby mule will be born in between them.

Minecraft Mule

5 - Donkey

The Donkey is very similar to Mules, however, they spawn naturally. This makes the Donkey a more convenient choice, as you don't need to breed them to create a baggage train. Their slow speed is pretty inconvenient, however, especially when you are exploring the map.

How to get donkeys: you can find herds of 1-3 in Plains, Mountain Meadows and Savannah

Donkey With Chest
Donkey is quite useful despite its slow speed.

6 - Pig

Surprisingly, players can ride a pig by equipping a saddle on it. However, they will need a literal "carrot on a stick" to guide it around. To get the item, just combine a fishing rod and carrot. While this method of travel can be fun, Minecraft pigs are not really suitable for long range adventures. Because of their slow speed and low jumping capability, you will have problems moving around, especially on bad terrains.

Using the carrot on a stick while riding a pig makes it run faster at the cost of 7 durability.

How to get pigs: Pigs spawn in groups of 4 above grass blocks at a light level of 9 or more in any grassy Overworld biome.

Pig riding
Interestingly, you can ride a pig in Minecraft just like a horse.

7 - Llama

Llamas are the worst amongst rideable mobs in Minecraft. Similar to a real-life Llama, the Minecraft version can't be tamed properly. There is no way to steer when riding a llama or direct them in any certain direction. However, players can just use them as chest carriers and lead them around with a rope.

Leading a llama actually signals up to ten nearby llamas (both tamed and untamed) to follow each other, forming a caravan. They can also be equipped with carpets in their carpet slot.

How to get Llamas: They spawn in savanna plateau/savanna biomes and mountains biomes in herds of 4-6. Wandering traders always spawn with two leashed trader llamas - you can kill the traders to get them.

Llama
Llamas are the worst rideable mobs in Minecraft.

This is the end of our guide for the best rideable mobs in Minecraft. To get these animals, you can refer to our guide on How to find biomes in Minecraft where these mobs live.

Mojang just revealed the second mob in the Minecraft Mob Vote 2021, Allay, a friendly mob that will help you collect items you give them.]]>

As Minecraft Live 2021 is coming close, Mojang starts to release more information about the Mob Vote 2021. Players will get to choose which mob will be added to Minecraft in the next update. The second mob in the Mob Vote is a little blue creature with wings called Allay.

New Minecraft Mob: Allay

As Jens is looking for Anges, he finds some note blocks and played them. The music from the note blocks then attracts our second mob in the Mob Vote 2021, Allay.

Allay is a mob with a collecting hobby. Whatever you give them, they will search for more of the same or similar items and give them to you. Allay is a big fan of music and dancing, which is why it will drop the collected items near note blocks when you play them. The devs have confirmed that Allay will collect items in the world and not duplicate them.

Collecting is kind of a boring job in Minecraft so Allay will definitely be a very useful mob to make it more fun and convenient. It is a friendly mob so we will see if it needed to be tamed, where it lives, and its interaction with other mobs. We will get to know more about the Minecraft Allay mob if it gets voted in the upcoming Mob Vote 2021.

Minecraft Allay
When you give Allay an item, it will collect all the same or similar items for you.

The first mob in Mob Vote 2021 is Glare, a green mob that hates the darkness. The third mob is expected to be revealed tomorrow. Make sure to join Minecraft Live 2021 on October 16 to catch all the biggest Minecraft updates, announcements, and vote for the next mob in Minecraft.
