PUBG Mobile 2.8 will have new updates in the weapon system. New weapons and features will be introduced in the upcoming Halloween update. These additions and enhancements will make great changes in the gameplay. Check it out here.

I. Weapon Updates

AUG A3 has been in the airdrop for a long time. But it will be nerfed and removed from the airdrop in update 2.8. FAMAS 2.0 will replace this 5.56mm Assault Rifle (AR) to spawn in this advanced gear crate after the upcoming update. As leaked, FAMAS 2.0 is a special version of the current FAMAS spawning in the map with enhanced power.

Apart from the replacement of the airdrop weapon, PUBG Mobile 2.8 also has an important update in the Frag Grenade. Since the upcoming update, your teammate will not receive damage from your Frag Grenade. So, you will no longer knock your teammate down with this throwable. Besides, the vehicle explosion damage for teammates is also removed. You cannot cause damage to your teammate by making the vehicle explode.

Additionally, a new crossbow attachment is coming to PUBG Mobile in the next update, called Tactical Gunpowder Attachment. This enhancement will make this traditional weapon more powerful and dangerous. It may increase the pickup rate of this silent weapon for campers.

PUBG Mobile 2.8 also introduced a new melee weapon - Combat Knife. But it's only available in the Zombie mode. After the Halloween mode ends, it will be removed from the game. Obviously, it will be an essential weapon for the zombie-fighting game.

II. Halloween Themed Modes

As usual, Halloween updates in PUBG Mobile often feature zombie-survival mode. The old Zombie Edge Mode will be rerun in the next update with familiar gameplay. Participants can experience thrilling survival games and face scary zombies on Erangel, Livik, and Miramar maps. Each game features an ultimate boss that you have to defeat.

III. New Maps & Vehicle

Hoverboard is the new vehicle in PUBG Mobile 2.8. It's a convenient flying board for one passenger. Maglev Hoverboard can help you traverse the map faster when you don't have any vehicle to ride or drive. But it's not as safe as cars as there is no cover around you.

The parachute jump button can be customized after update 2.8. After the next update, PUBG Mobile players can adjust the button size, transparency, and location.

Moreover, there may be a new Desert Town map. But its official release has not been confirmed yet. According to recent rumors, this desert map is still under development. It's expected to be released in the upcoming update.

PUBG Mobile 1.6 has brought back many exciting game modes, such as Metro Royale Reunion, Titan Last Stand, etc. for players to warm up before the big update 1.7. #1. Carry Function

Tencent will bring the Carry function in PUBG PC to the mobile version. In specific, you can carry the knocked teammate to carry him to a safer place and revive him. This function has been added to PUBG PC recently. When you carry your teammate on your shoulder, his HP loss will reduce.

Alternatively, you can also carry the knocked enemy to make him cover you. The one carried will get shot when enemies shoot at you. When you carry a knocked player, you can still fire back with the crosshair. However, you cannot crouch, lay down or get in the car.

#2. New Weapon: AC-VAL

AC-VAL is a new assault rifle in BGMI and PUBG Mobile 1.7. It will be the AR version of VSS - the most silent gun in this battle royale shooting game. This new AR looks pretty similar to VSS. It's also pre-equipped with a PSO-1 scope and a suppressor like VSS.

AC-VAL in PUBG PC uses 9x39mm SP6 ammo. It's also the first AR using 9mm ammo in PUBG Mobile. Therefore, it has high bullet penetration.

However, its headshot damage is pretty low that is 69HP/hit to the level-1 helmet and 56HP/hit to the level-2 helmet. It's also the weakest AR in PUBG Mobile.

#3. DP-28 Nerfed

It's leaked that long-range damage and headshot damage of the legendary Designated Marksman Rifle DP-28 will be nerfed. It's bad news for loyal users of this gun but it guarantees the balance of the game.

The current version of DP-28 is over-powerful. It has high accuracy, stability, and damage. It's also one of the most favorite guns in BGMI and PUBG Mobile.

PUBG Mobile Metro Royale details

PUBG Mobile's next update will be called Metro Royale. The theme of the main lobby will be changed to the theme of the event with a big Metro Royale button on the top left of the screen.

The Metro Royale mode will be played on Erangel, but not in the usual way. Erangel will be split into many small parts that you need to unlock. Also, the name of places and buildings will all be changed. Players can bring a loadout into the game and will contain weapons, First Aid Kits, attachments, Bandage, and boosters.

There will be new equipment as well as new challenges such as monsters, bandits, and maybe even a dragon as well.

It is possible that this mode is the result of the collaboration between PUBG Mobile and METRO Exodus that PUBG Mobile teased in August. That means this mode should be coming to the game quite soon, possibly next month.

1 – What is the release date of PUBG Mobile Season 14?

Based on Season 13’s Royale Pass, the current season would come to an end on July 12, 2020. Based on the usual schedule, season 14 would hit the live server 2 days later, on July 14, 2020. Players would be able to purchase the Royale Pass and get all the new content from it.

According to the leaks, the theme for the next season is going to be “Spark the Flame”, with the majority of the new costumes sporting that theme. A few of the rewards have been leaked, including the tier rewards and 100 RP costume of season 14’s Royale Pass.

The theme for this season is actually pretty weird - while the costume overall looks like plate armor, they are assembled in a leather fashion. The whole set would be awarded after you reach Platinum.

Tier reward for Diamond:

The player would get an M24 sniper rifle skin to go with the costume. With this gun being the 2nd most popular SR in the game (after the Kar98k), you would actually get the chance to use the thing more often.

Tier reward for Ace:

Parachute skin of the season is Ace tier's traditional reward, and Season 14 is not an exception.

Season 14's 100 RP costume:

One of the best outfits in quite a while - this costume is mythic quality and seems to be inspired by the popular franchise Warhammer 40k.

Recently, PUBG Mobile teased something new by sending streamers mysterious photo pieces. Many users have tried to make put them together to solve this puzzle and the result was a map. Many players suspected that this is the map of Erangel 2.0, the revamped version of Erangel. However, this map doesn't look like Erangel at all or any map that has appeared in PUBG Mobile or even PUBG PC.

Turn out, this is a brand new Battle Royale map called Fourex for PUBG Mobile that hasn't been released anywhere yet. This is the first time ever that PUBG Mobile has a Battle Royale map before PUBG PC. This map has a size of 2x2 km, an extremely small size compare to any Battle Royale map in PUBG Mobile so far but it is actually the combination of 4 maps in PUBG Mobile, which made perfect sense why PUBG Mobile split into 4 pieces.

Most of the map is covered by green grass. There is a small portion on the top right of the map which is covered by snow, which is from Vikendi. There is a small portion on the bottom left is a desert, which resembles Miramar. Finally, there is a small island on the bottom right which represents Sanhok.

This map is now available in the PUBG Mobile beta Chinese version and is not finished yet. As you can see in the picture above, they haven't named any location yet and there is a small sentence saying that this is not the final quality of the map when it comes out. But considering that PUBG Mobile has already teased this map on their social media, it should be coming to PUBG Mobile very soon, possibly in the 0.19.0 update.

According to leaks, this map will also bring a new shotgun and a new attachment called Extending Barrel for long-rang weapons. There will be also a new giant monster truck vehicle on this map.

Tencent Games has posted several tweets on the official account of PUBG Mobile, releasing that a new map may come to this game soon. After a long time waiting and many rumors about the new maps, players can finally wait for a confirmation of the publisher.

A New Map May Come To PUBG Mobile

Tencent Games has attached some postcards each of which has a stamp on the top right corner. If you merge these stamps together, you can get something that looks like a map. A lot of people believe that it be the upcoming map in PUBG Mobile. And Tencent Games has no reason to attach these stamps on the postcards but try to leak something.

Moreover, they even wrote “Where could these mysterious postcards have come from?!” in the caption stressed on the stamps. This new map might come to this game in the 0.19.0 update. There is no announcement and confirmation. But the tweet of the game publisher has brought a solid belief in the coming of an enhanced or totally new map.

Many say it can be the Erangel 2.0 or Karakin map, or even a specially-made map for PUBG Mobile players. But it’s more likely to be the Karakin map because Tencent Games has been developing this new map for PUBG Mobile. Karakin is the newest map in PUBG. So, it’s understandable when PUBG Corp. and Tencent Games will bring this map to the mobile version of this game.

The game will still show the upcoming safe zone but blue it out, which should prevent someone from getting lucky with their drop, who would then camp there and stop other players from getting to the safe zone as well. New guns and attachments

Of course, the 0.18.0 update should be introducing a whole host of new weapons and new options to modify the weapons with. The P90, an iconic weapon in many shooter games, is coming to the new update. Based on several beta experiences, the P90 will certainly be a favorite for many players when it is officially available.

A 2.7x scope will also be available to the Win94, and the weapon will feature a canted sight that makes it more effective in both long-range and close-range combat.

PUBG Mobile Season 13 start date

Season 13 of PUBG Mobile should be starting on May 13, which should be easy to remember. Appropriately enough, the Season 12 Royale Pass will be expiring on May 12, which means you have only a week left to finish anything you haven't already.

According to the leaks, this new feature will come to PUBG Mobile players all over the world in this next 0.17.5 updated patch. It will be possibly renamed after the official launch because ‘Library’ is the name of this map. 

However, there has been no official announcement about the PUBG Mobile library map release date. It’s spotted on the beta version of the Chinese PUBG Mobile game, known as Game for Peace. According to the leak of a PUBG Mobile player, named Mr. Ghost Gaming, this new mode will have a brand new map called Library. And it’s literally a large library. 

Moreover, this gamer also experienced and found out that this new game mode is pretty similar to the existing Team Deathmatch Mode (TDM) in this battle royale game. If it is true, PUBG Mobile players across the world will have three TDM maps to play.

As we all know, PUBG Mobile has two TDM maps now, including Warehouse and Ruins. So, after the official PUBG mobile library mode release date, players all around the world will have more experience in this PUBG Mobile EvoGround mode.
