Screenwriters Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely teased an exciting never-before-seen shot from the Avengers: Infinity War deleted scene during a fan session. The image quickly spread through the Internet as Marvel fans showed their buzz for such a rare sight.

The screenwriting duo showed an image of Dr. Strange (played by Benedict Cumberbatch) wearing the Iron Man's Mark 50 Suit - a scene that never made it into the final version of the film. This photo belongs to an alternative version of the fight between Tony Stark (played by Robert Downey Jr.), Dr. Strange, and Ebony Maw (played by Tom Vaughan-Lawlor). We can also see  Tony was wearing The Cloak of Levitation, one of Strange's mystical artifacts. Many believe that this was just one of the many alternatives ditched by the filmmakers.

In a tweet via the ComicBook.com account, McFeely hinted that there were many versions of the scene. Only a few made it through the cut, while others, as awesome as they were, were too long to keep. This is fairly easy to understand considering the colossal scope and scale of the Infinity War. However, seeing just a glimpse into an alternative version of the film did bring joy to the Marvel fans. They said that they would do anything, even selling their kidney, to see the full deleted scene, with or without CGI.

Avengers: Infinity War has been released two years ago, in April 2018 and followed by Avengers: Endgame. Both movies ended up generating gigantic box office gross, with Endgame being the highest-grossing film of all time. Marvel Cinematic Universe's phase four has been delayed due to the impact of coronavirus. Marvel's Black Widow starring Scarlett Johansson is moved back to later this year, on November 6.

The Black Widow 2020 movie, while being a prequel, is actually a very important movie for the Marvel Cinematic Universe to move forward. It would be the first movie to kick start the fourth phase, post Infinity Saga Era. As we all know, each movie in a phase of Marvel plays a part in crafting the grand overall story and Black Widow, being the first movie of the phase, should be extra important.

However, there are a lot of questions about how Marvel would be able to do it, as the movie is a prequel and the main character is now dead. In this article, we would list out for major ways that Black Widow can impact the MCU's future.

1 - Yelena Belova might become the new Black Widow

The original incarnation of a hero passing the torch to the second generation has always been a pretty popular event in comic book storytelling, despite rarely happen in animated or real movies. We have already seen that in the MCU with Hank Pym training Scott Lang for the role of the Ant-Man. With Natasha Romanoff perished in canon, it looks like the mantle of Black Widow would be taken up by someone else going forward. From what we can gather from trailers, it is very likely to be Florence Pugh's Yelena Belova.

In the comics, Yelena is trained to inherit the Black Widow title, and it certainly looks like the movie version is going to do the same thing. Due to the fact that Yelena trained at the same place and has the same set of skills with the first Black Widow - the overall spy/assassin gist of the character moving forward would remain intact.

2 - More about the history of the MCU - or maybe even a Hulk solo movie

Since her first introduction in Iron Man 2, Black Widow has been consistently shown to be one of the more elusive heroes in the MCU, with her backstory provided only in small doses over various dialogues in multiple movies. In her own solo movie, we can expect that a lot of those teaser dialogues to be expanded upon - we would learn more about her life before she became an Avenger, and maybe even details related to other characters. Black Widow is one of the first characters in the Avenger roster, and she is involved in recruiting almost all of the original lineup - in flashback sequences in her movie, various reveals might happen (an Iron man cameo by Robert Downey Jr. is already confirmed).

In this new movie, it is revealed that Natasha would have some history with Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross, a villain that often appears in Hulk's origin stories (the guy was part of the Sokovia/Civil War storyline as well). Thaddeus Ross is also the Red Hulk (a version of Hulk with a different set of power) in the comics, but this is likely not going to be the case in the MCU.

3 - Taskmaster might be a recurring villain

Overall, Taskmaster is one of the cooler villains with an ability to mimic the fighting style/method of other heroes. His "copy ability" photographic reflexes have made the guy one of the best fighters in the Marvel Universe - and it would be a shame to have the guy removed after his first appearance. The "smaller-scale" power is also pretty refreshing and new, as in previous Marvel movies, most villains have world-breaking powers. A badass "supernormal" villain like Taskmaster would be a great addition to this phase and beyond.

Admittedly, given the track record of Marvel Studios, it is very likely that this guy would be a one-off villain and killed after the first appearance. This is actually rather bad for long term developments, as one of the weakest parts in the Infinity War duology is Thanos' group of minor henchmen - they pretty much exist to be defeated and killed by the heroes. There is a lot about Taskmaster that we don't know, even the identity of the actor who's playing the character.

4 - Hawkeye backstory - and maybe a later solo movie

When the Avengers first assembled, they were a rag-tag band of random people united only by necessity - except for two characters, Black Widow and Hawkeye. It was eventually unveiled later on in the movie that these two have a lot of history together. This eventually accumulates and built up to create an awesome climax between them in Avengers: Endgame - Black Widow's struggle to become the one to die for the Soul Stone is one of the most intense and heartbreaking parts of the movie. With the requirement of Vormir being "you have to sacrifice the person you love most", people probably have realized the romantic tension between them.

With Hawkeye being the only original Avenger who hasn't had a solo movie, it is very likely that Black Widow's eventual success would lead to a prequel movie for Hawkeye down the line. It can also tie into the upcoming Hawkeye show that is going to air on Disney Plus as well. As BW 2020 is going to explore the "Red Room", their "Budapest" moment is yet to be depicted on screen - and such an important character-defining moment deserve better.

His first appearance was on the post-credit of the first Iron Man movie back in 2008 – and only after that did people realize an avenger movie could happen for real.

Throughout phase 1 of the MCU, Nick Fury and S.H.I.E.L.D was the sole connector to link all the movies together into Avenger 2012. And because of that, Samuel L. Jackson was signed to an absurd nine-movies deal, in order to make sure everything is secured for the MCU to take off and become the biggest brand in the industry.

Since then, Jackson’s Nick Fury has appeared in 11 MCU movies, ranging from just a brief cameo in Thor and Endgame to full time supporting roles like in Captain Marvel and Spider-Man. Fury’s journey almost came to an end in Winter Soldier – and with the third phase of the MCU concluded in Endgame, the guy might not be around for much longer.

According to various sources, Nick Fury is going to stick around for a few more movies until phase 4 end – afterward, the character would be retired and replaced with Abigail Brand, the leader of a new government organization called S.W.O.R.D. Both this character and the organization would be introduced in Wandavision, the upcoming Marvel TV show on Disney Plus. It is expected that Fury’s arc would end with the second Captain Marvel movie, as Brie Larson’s character is the one who has the most history with the director of S.H.I.E.L.D.

We're still quite far from Marvel's Avengers May 2020 release date. However, the publisher Square Enix and developer Crystal Dynamics still want to strike early, as they've unleashed a new trailer showcasing the key features of their title.

We can mention some of them, including the narrative with Ms. Marvel - Kamala Khan, the gears upgrading system, and the outfits that we and the mightiest heroes on Earth can wear. The story of Marvel's Avengers

From previous reveals, we have an overall look at what will happen in this game, but not as detailed as this time. If you've missed out the first part of the trailer looking at how beautiful this game is, here's the summary for you:

The story of this game starts on the so-called A-days - the day that the Avengers celebrate their first base on the west coast. Alongside the new Headquarters, the Avengers also reveals their Terrigen Crystal Reactor - the new technology that will power the whole base.

However, something has gone wrong with the reactor, causing an unexpected accident that devastate the whole San Francisco landscape. The inhabitants here blame our heroes for it, and forcing the crew to disband with the pressure from the government. Replacing them to protect the Earth is a new organization - AIM.

Fives years later after the events, AIM has successfully implemented their 'Synthroid AIs', which will do the protecting jobs that alter the jobs of the superheroes. However, it's only the surface of the whole sea, and below, AIM is aiming to take control of Earth.

The truth gradually unfolds, and we need the Avengers back more than any time else. Thus, an Avengers' fangirl with superpower namely Kamala Khan will embark on her dangerous journey to proof the innocent of our heroes and reunited the crew to defeat the evil plan of AIM.

Details on gameplay features

Marvel's Avengers is a third-person action-adventure game, featuring the superheroes from the original Avengers movie/comic. You can either play this game solo or with your friends to put a stop to any dangers, even when they're just looming.

Starting the game with a new base in an abandoned Helicarrier, you'll have to complete the missions of protecting humankind, stopping AIM and return peace to Earth. Further completing mission, you will receive gears to upgrade not only your base but also your equipment as well. You can see how Iron Man adds new gears and upgraded his power through the trailer.

Furthermore, you'll not only gain the loots from missions but also skill points too. Using them to enhance your power and adding new skills to your set is the way to go with tougher missions in the future. And together with the equipment upgrade, those skills will change the way you play forever.

And even though we've mentioned that Marvel's Avengers supports both solo and co-op play, it's not available for all missions. In fact, the missions in this game are separated into two types. The first one is the Hero Mission, in which you'll control a certain hero and complete their objectives. Secondly - the Warzone missions - will pack up to 4 players as 4 Avengers to into the missions together, which you can enjoy your online co-op fun.

Last but not least, each Avenger has various sets of outfits, which was developed based on the 80-year history of the Marvel. Yes, that means Kamala Khan will have some, too.

Release date and supported platforms

Marvel's Avengers will launch for PC, PS4, Xbox One and Google Stadia on May 15, 2020.

All gaming companies should listen to their fans more often, and Square Enix with its Marvel's Avengers game is the true example of that statement. This title is anticipated to be one of the hottest video games in this year 2019, as this is a booming year of Marvel and MCU. Thus, this game has kinda gone quietly too, because gamers now have many other great titles to focus on and to wait for, like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Cyberpunk 2077 ...

That is why in the gameplay video released at Gamescom 2019, the design of the characters in the game has been slightly modified. If you don't take a close look, you might not realize the changes. But then since in Marvel's Avengers of Square Enix does not have Hawkeye, so a fan has to play that role to spot the differences between the first design and the modified design for the characters in the game. During San Diego Comic-Con 2019, attendees got a chance to look at several exclusive gameplay of the upcoming Marvel's Avengers. The video will undoubtedly hit official platforms later, but thanks to someone with a mobile phone at the event, we're now can enjoy some parts of the footage earlier.

The leaked video shows Thor swinging his Mjolnir, rampaging a group of hapless enemies in an attempt to help the police. Besides a somewhat destructible turnpike featured in the footage, we can clearly hear some satisfying sound effects while Thor dominates the battle. More interestingly, our God of Thunder seems to pull off several combos during the fight, including a couple of Devil May Cry-inspired aerial attacks.

Marvel's Avengers - Leaked gameplay

Additionally, we got a brief look at the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, which was previously shown on Marvel's Avengers trailer.

The owner of this video couldn't record all of the gameplay reveal at SDCC. According to a comment on YouTube, the organizers told them to stop capturing the footage, or they will have them kicked out from the show.

However, a few second captured in the leaked video should be enough for the fans to get a general idea of Marvel' Avengers. The animations with Thor in action looks impressive and fluid. For those who're into Devil May Cry kind of genre, it could be even more satisfying. Not all the time you can play as the God of Thunder and go wild on hostile enemies.

Marvel's Avengers is still under development by Crystal Dynamics. Publisher Square Enix will expectedly bring the game to PC and consoles on May 15, 2020.

It’s been quite some time since Marvel introduced Marvel's Avengers at the E3 earlier this year. Marvel has been really successful in making fans curious about how the game would be in action. In the Comic Con at San Diego, many actually looked forward to trying out the game during the Avengers panel. Unfortunately, the attendees could only watch the demo.

The footage showed us clearly the way this game works. In Marvel’s Avengers, players will control the whole Avenger team - however,  each member would be controlled individually. Furthermore, the control will switch automatically between different segments. For example, you may fly around as Iron Man in this scene and smash everything around you as the Hulk in the next.

Each of the Avengers owns a unique skill set mirroring everything we’ve seen from other games, movies and especially comics. The combat in this game really looks similar to Marvel's Spider-Man, which means there would be a lot of combo attacks, fluid dodging and finally Quick-Time Events.

In the live-tweeting during the panel, Marvel's Avengers’ official Twitter account revealed a rough release date for the demo footage —around a week after Gamescom 2019.

Gamescom is going to take place from the 20th to the 24th of August. Therefore, you will have to wait until the week of August 26 to see the footage of the demo. Until then, the game’s developer - Crystal Dynamics - will have approximately a whole month of polishing.

According to a tweet from the game's Twitter page, the setting of Marvel's Avenger would occur like this: "A-Day sets the stage for the rest of the game. Blamed for the tragedy, the Avengers disband. Five years later, with all Super Heroes outlawed and the world in peril, the only hope is to reassemble Earth’s Mightiest Heroes."

Square Enix - the game’s publisher has revealed an unusual amount of concern relating to the Avengers demo. There is a high chance that it is due to the lukewarm reception of the game at E3 2019. After watching the demo, Samuel though that it "didn't exactly look superheroic."

For what it’s worth, the game will be released on the 15th of May 2020. The game will be available on Google Stadia, Xbox One, PS4, and PC.

Back in 2017, Square Enix made an announcement stating that it was working on a brand new Marvel's Avengers game. Square Enix also announced that Crystal Dynamics - the developer of Shadow of the Tomb Raider and Eidos-Montreal - Deus Ex’s developers would also help develop the game.

For those who haven’t heard of Marvel’s Avengers, it will, according to the game’s description, feature an entirely original story. Marvel’s Avengers will also present players a whole gaming universe, where we can play for many years to come.

Recently, at E3 2019, Square Enix has officially introduced the game to the fans. During their presentation for Marvel's Avengers, they said that there won’t be any loot boxes in Marvel's Avengers. Furthermore, you can’t find ways to win the game by paying.

However, if you  noticed, they had never said that there wouldn’t be any microtransactions. During another interview, the game developers actually confirmed that there will, indeed, be microtransactions in this new title.

However, regarding the things those microtransactions in Marvel’s Avengers will entail, the game’s developers only revealed a few things. Still, they also left some hints that there might be more. The lead creative director of Crystal Dynamics - Shaun Escayg - shared, “There will be custom outfits that you can purchase in microtransactions.”

There are, indeed, many aesthetic ways for you to customize your card as well as your gaming experience. However, according to Vincent Napoli - the lead combat designer, none of those has any impact on the gameplay.

The developers didn’t reveal exactly what players can customize. Still, considering the similar microtransaction model in other games, there are various options from emotes to voice lines to dances.

In the newest financial report, Square Enix states that it intends to “unveil the details of our major new HD games for FY2020/3.” and then keep revealing more by saying that “out of consideration of competitor release schedules, our major launches will take place after midyear of FY2020/3.” Due to the fact that announcement at E3 2019 for Marvel's Avengers has been confirmed along with other titles' by Square Enix, it's safe to expect the game will be an FY2020/3 release, which implies that the launch schedule for Marvel's Avengers is highly likely to set from October 2019 to March 2020.

However, there is another note from Square Enix: the “major launches will take place after midyear of FY2020/3". This could possibly mean that Marvel' Avengers will not be anywhere in 2019. A more possible expectation it that the game will be published in the first 6 months of 2020, more likely in February or March. While Square Enix has not particularly noted about Marvel's Avengers, we cannot go further on guessing a specific launch date for this title.

With the biggest event for video games - E3 2019 is on its way, players should expect some announcement for the launch date of Marvel' Avengers. Or in a worse scenario where Square Enix decided not to reveal it, at least we can wait for some details on the official gameplay. According to an E3 Coliseum listing, we've already known that the game will have 4-player co-op, character customization, and some solid online features. Many players share the same feeling that this game will be another version of online live-service games such as Destiny or The Division 2.

More details about the future of Marvel's Avengers are likely to come at Square Enix's E3 2019 press conference, which will start at 6:00 pm PT, June 10. At that time of the conference, we will also have a chance to find out whether these rumors about the game have any truth, like if one of the central heroes on this title will be Ms. Marvel, for example.

If there were a bit of luck, we could eventually learn something about Marvel's Avengers' aiming platform - is that the current, or the next-gen consoles? So, let’s dig deeper into the details to break down what we might get to see when the movie actually rolls out:

Going back to the origin

Right at the beginning, the trailer shows Tony Stark in his Mach 1 Iron Man suit, the very first one he made in 2008’s Iron Man. Later on, we see several other flashbacks of other characters, such as Thor with his father Odin and Steve Rogers at Peggy Carter’s funeral. All of these are in grey and white, with certain parts highlighted crimson.

We can hear Stark relaying a message for his lover Pepper Potts in which he looks back on the major events of his life and how he came to realize he loves her. Then, a female voice (presumably Peggy Carter’s) reads “The world has changed. None of us can go back. All we can do is our best. And sometimes, the best we can do is to start over.” If you recall, this is the conversation Carter had with Steve Rogers back in Captain America: The Winter Soldier. As this narrative goes on, the screen switches to another flashback of a skinny Steve Rogers enlisting into the US army.

We get to see more of Hawkeye

We already caught a glimpse of Hawkeye in the first trailer, but this time we get to see more of him. It appears that he’s going to play a major role in Endgame, as we see Natasha Romanoff meeting him in Japan. In the comics, Clint Barton eventually put behind the Hawkeye title and move on to fight crime under the new name “Ronin” (a Japanese word to refer to a lone warrior or a masterless samurai), which is probably what is going on here.

Barton looks bitter and depressed, and ever since the first trailer fans have speculated that the reason behind his drastic change is because his family was killed by Thanos’ snap. This is further supported by a subsequent flashback in which we see him happily teaching archery to his daughter. By the way, this scene has also led many people to believe that Hawkeye’s daughter will replace the role of Kate Bishop in the comics and become his successor.

Ant-man has escaped the Quantum Realm?

In this part we can see Scott Lang looking at a “missing” poster with a distressed look on his face. This probably means he has somehow managed to get out of the Quantum Realm and return, yet unfortunately, only to find everyone he loves gone.

Avengers Assemble

Following the scene with Ant-man were shots of several characters, including Bruce Banners, Thor, and Rocket Raccoon standing on War Machine’s shoulder, Nebula doing her usual things which is yelling and fighting. Hawkeye pops up pretty frequently between the shots, further implying his importance in the upcoming events.

But what comes after those series of shots is probably the most interesting part of the trailer. Here, we see the full team (what’s left of them, anyway) walking through the Avengers Headquarter in brand new outfits. There are several things to note here, the first of which is that both Nebula and Tony Stark are among them. This suggests that the two has escaped Titan, survived Space, and made it to Earth. However, don’t take this as a concrete fact just yet, as Marvel is known for its tendency to misdirect fans by including footages that are not in the actual film in its trailers (Remember the scene from Infinity War trailer when we saw The Hulk running beside the Avengers and T’challa’s army in Wakanda?).

Then, fans have theorized that the suits that the entire team is wearing are specially-designed ones that allow them to travel to the Quantum Realm, which would mean they could be traveling back through time. Earlier we saw a glimpse of Captain America on the battlefield in what seems like his original uniform, so time travel is totally a possibility here.

With the deal between Disney and Fox expected to conclude later this month, Marvel Studios will soon have the freedom to bring the X-Men into the MCU. The prospect of finally getting to see the mutants sharing the big screen with Earth’s mightiest heroes have got fans incredibly excited.

In fact, sources have claimed that an all-out X-Men vs Avengers vs movie is “on the cards.” Though there is currently no specific details on the nature of this battle, Marvel Studios will reportedly “begin building to it” once the merger is complete. This implies that the X-Men franchise will see a few more projects as stepping stones leading up to the big moment of crossover. This would make sense for the Avengers as well, since they can surely use a rest after two big hits in two consecutive years.

In any case, the Disney/Fox deal isn’t even final yet, so Marvel’s plans could always change. It’s unlikely that we will see more about this until at least after Avengers: Endgame. Coming on April 26^th, this film marks the ending of the current era. Moreover, it is also expected to serve as the conclusion to the stories of a few veteran heroes from Phase 1, so any new Avengers movies after that could possibly see a very different line-up compared to the current one.

The same holds true for the mutants. Kevin Feige appears to be intending to recast the entire roster of the X-Men universe, except one major figure who is still going strong: Deadpool. This begs the question: what’s to become of Deadpool’s co-stars? It seems like recasting Cable, Domino, Negasonic and the rest would be too soon at the moment, but at the same time, maintaining the current X-Men universe just because of the Deadpool films wouldn’t work either.

Only the future will tell what’s going to happen, but just as Avengers: Endgame is concluding the current phase of the MCU, X-Men: Dark Phoenix is expected to do the same for the X-Men when it airs on June 7 this year.

According to director Joe Russo, the upcoming Avengers 4 movie is not considered to be Marvel's longest-running film ever. Russo said in a recent live interview, "The running time on Avengers 4 is currently sitting right at three hours. We'll see if that holds." Meanwhile, the current Infinity War has 2 hours and 40 minutes is the movie holds the record for the longest time of Marvel.

The film may take a long time because Thanos has accomplished his purpose in the previous movie (Avengers: Infinity War), the Avengers must do something to change everything and save everyone. For the best film transmission, long time for the film is the need. Three hours can be a long time to sit in the movie theater, but with the attractive and glorious Avengers 4 is probably not a big problem.

In post-production work, Russo said the production team had completed 50% of the entire film's work. Currently, the footage is still in the middle of the editing process, Russo also added, "We're really just scratching the surface on our VFX shots. There are more than 3,000 VFX shots in the movie; those require a lot of time and thought and energy and effort, and we're very early in the phase of getting VFX done."

There are a lot of footages that needs to be put into the movie, but for a limited time, filmmakers may have to cut footage. No matter how many footages is reduced, it does not reduce the epic and special aspect of the film. But the fans of this movie should arrange a suitable schedule to go to the theater in order to avoid returning home at sunrise and not be able to work the next day.

Avengers 4 will be released on May 3rd, 2019.
