Fast and Furious Crossroads is the new action-packed game from the developer Slightly Mad Studio - the creative minds behind the ultra-realistic racing game Project CARS. This comes as no surprise, as previously, the CEO of the studio has accidentally spoiled that it has secured an exclusive contract to develop a Fast and Furious game. Bandai Namco will take the responsibility of bringing this game to the public.

To be more specific, Fast and Furious Crossroads will not tell any story from any movies of the franchise, but will feature a new authentic one. In this game, you'll follow the titular characters of the series, including Dominic Torreto (voiced by Vin Diesel), Letty (Michelle Rodriguez) and Roman (Tyrese Gibson) on a brand new high-speed journey full of heists, races and stunts in a lot of famous locations on Earth.

The trailer doesn't tell us much about the upcoming story apart from several Easter eggs: just Dom and his crew on the adventure to protect a family of strangers while fighting with an unknown threat. Instead, it focuses more on the racing parts, with gadgets, cars, fast-paced cinematic scenes, and heart-pounding actions. The developer confirmed that there will be a multiplayer mode revealed in the future apart from the Story mode.

But even the racing actions of this game looks terrible in the trailer. The cars are very dirty and look like they come from the first Fast and Furious movie in 2006, and the character visualization is not beautiful either. I hope that this happened only due to the fact that the game's still under development, and it will look much more completed in the future.

Both Bandai Namco and Slightly Mad Studio is capable of that, and I'm looking forward to what they can do to improve the game.

As its title suggests, Table Top Racing: World Tour is a racer game in which you’ll use miniature vehicles to race around various tracks. The game also offers 8 unique power-ups to pick up along the way, which will give you an advantage over your competition. These power-ups can range from offensive to defensive ones: Some cause damage to opponents or hinder their movements, while others can grant additional protection to your own car.

Aside from that, you can equip your vehicle with 6 types of weapon wheels to lay waste to anyone that stands in your path. An example of this is the “spike wheel”, which has pointy ends sticking out on its side. With this, you can drive next to an opponent and then swerve into them to inflict damage.

In terms of vehicle choices, there are 16 cars for you to pick, which include traditional-looking race cars as well as less conventional racing vehicles like vans or even beetles. Basically, there will definitely be something for everyone. You'll also be able to upgrade them as well.

The Switch version of Table Top Racing: World Tour - Nitro Edition has been praised by many for its sizable single-player campaign, which can offer more than 25 hours’ worth of content. Meanwhile, multiplayer races can see up to 8 players duking it out across dozens of tracks to see who is the best driver. That said, some reviews have criticized the on-track action as lackluster.

After spending about 2 years on iOS, the acclaimed racer game Grid Autosport is finally ready to make the jump to Android. It will hit the Google Play Store next week on the 26^th of November, courtesy of Feral Interactive – the same studio behind several mobile ports of classic games such as ROME: Total War Alexander and Tropico.

Grid Autosport started out a console game released back in 2014 for PS3 and Xbox 360 where it was praised by many players. Since then, it has been ported to iOS and more recently to the Nintendo Switch. The iOS version also received a lot of good reviews, so we have high expectations for the upcoming Android release.

In case you have not heard of Grid Autosport, it’s a racer game in which you become a pro-racer and compete in 5 different racing styles. There are around a hundred cars and tracks to play with, so basically you’re in for a ton of high-speed action here.

The upcoming Android version will utilize both tilt and touch screen controls to deliver an experience that strikes a balance between arcade-style driving and realism. You'll use the phone like a steering wheel, while there will also be several onscreen buttons for controlling the speed of your vehicle.

As for the requirements, you’ll need 3.9 GB of free space as well as Android 9.0 or a later version on your phone. Feral Interactive has also released a detailed list of supported devices, which includes the Google Pixel Series, the Samsung Galaxy S and Note series (starting from the S8 and Note8), the Xiaomi Pocophone F1, the OnePlus 5T and 6T, the Razer Phone, and more. The studio also notes that even an unsupported device might still be able to run the game, though it might not work as intended.

Grid Autosport is set to arrive on Google Play on the 26^th of November as a premium game that costs £9.99 (roughly Rs 900). If you own an iOS device instead, you can also find it available on the App Store right now at the same price.

As the newest title in the franchise, KartRider: Drift is the most ambitious title that NEXON has put a lot of effort into the making. It wants the game to be suitable for every kind of gamers, so the KartRider: Drift is completely free-to-play and easy to catch up as well.

You can enjoy it on both PC and Xbox One, and KartRider: Drift will pack you and your friends in the same race even though you're playing on different devices. Furthermore, when I say free-to-play, I mean it's also free-to-win as well. The microtransactions might still exist but it's only for the accessories and cosmetics, and the whole outcome of the race will depend on your driving skills.

Speaking about multiplayer, the game does not only support online races but also couch co-op as well. You can either race alone with random people or friends, or invite your pals in for split-screen high-definition racing experiences  NEXON has enhanced the graphics of the game with Unreal Engine 4, making its visuals stunningly beautiful, especially with the cool drift in the race.

The scenery is not the only beautiful thing in this game. In detail, KartRider: Drift also allows you to customize both your karts and your characters. You can change the paint color of your rides, as well as adding patterns and accessories to make your characters really stand out in the adrenaline-raising races.

Multiple play modes

KartRider: Drift offers various play modes for certain types of gamers to catch up with. If you're new to the game and the genre, the Item Mode is perfect for the first race, as it's easy to learn, no penalty whatsoever, and have a lot of items to add to the fun. But if you want something more competitive, the Speed Mode is basically a Rank mode for you to climb to the top of the chart.

With the Speed Mode, the maps are less forgiving, as there are a lot of sharp turns that will put your steering skills to a real test. You can expect a lot of cool drifts as well as intensive races that you can never guess who will be the first one to cross the finish line.

And last but not least, KartRider: Drift is aiming to go big, so NEXON has packed a lot of karts, character designs, and maps to the game now. It also confirmed that there will be Seasonal contents coming regularly in the future, which will bring more motivation for you to grind.

KartRider: Drift will come out at an unknown date in 2020 for Xbox One, Xbox One X and PC via Steam and Nexon Launcher.

Racing games have always been about controlling, drifting and lay down traps to obstruct other racers. However, the more we experience this kind of gameplay, the more we lose interest in the genre that's seeing saturation now, both in realistic racing games and cartoon-like racing games.

So, indie developers like Bonsai Treehouse have to make something unique to earn some room in the genre. And now, we have Snowdown - a funny snow-sliding game about losing control. Instead of drifting your 'inflatable tube' like a real racer, you'll have to sit back and watch it slide on its own before being able to control it again!

The concept of Snowdown

Unlike other racing games, Snowdown doesn't stand out for its ultra-realistic graphics or complicated controling system. In fact, its visuals still look quite shabby, and you only need one hand to control everything in this game. Instead, Snowdown is special for its unique concept - losing control.

Snowdown will put you in a colorful tube hurling down a snowy hill to the finish line. The special thing about that is you won't be able to control your tube every time, as you only have a limited control bar. It's on the top-middle of the screen, showing a timer-like bar that illustrates how long can you steering your tube to keep it on the track.

The bar will gradually drop, and the more you make corrections to your pathing, the quicker your controlling time will run out. Hence, making too many fiddles will leave you unable to change your route anymore, and you can't do anything else but just stand back, relax and rely on destiny.

But that situation doesn't last forever, as there will be some Time Gates scattering on the map to give you some extra controlling time. In short, you'll have to be both careful and careless at the same time - taking care of your main route somewhat carelessly while calculating your timer carefully. Or just forget what I said, and just enjoy playing the way you do!

Other features

However, the fun doesn't just end so easily. Besides the Time Gates, Snowdown features some Hazard Rings as well, which will trigger dangerous traps on the map every time you pass through. While it will probably not knock you out of the tube, it will surely cause mayhem by changing the path that you've calculated earlier, making the races much more frantic.

Even better, as all of these chaotic accidents will be captured and shown on your screen with a real-time cut. With that, you can enjoy leaning back and laugh at your opponents' fail while having no controlling time left. Powered by Unreal Engine, you can expect those scenes to be quite detailed and hilarious!

Last but not least, Snowdown allows you to play both solo and multiplayer. The multiplayer options vary from online competitive to split-screen couch racing, in which you can enjoy the game with your friends without any problems whatsoever. Together with over 50 kinds of silly tubes that you can choose from, the game is perfect for really enjoyable racing times with friends.

Snowdown is now available on Itch.io, which you only have to pay $3.00 for each copy of the game. The developer Bonsai Treehouse will continue to bring newer content to Snowdown in the future, so you can enjoy racing with your friends with new funny stuff again and again.

Gensou SkyDrift is a new racing game from the developer Unites Games that take the magical world and characters of Touhou Project into the roster. To be more specific, you'll choose two from 20 playable magical girls from Touhou and join the neck-breaking high-speed race in the beautiful sky of Gensokyo.

But you might question: why we have to choose two characters? The answer is very simple if you watch the trailer: the vehicle that you're riding on is your partner! In detail, one will stay on the top and control the other girl flying to the finish line. Even better, you can freely switch the position of the two at any time you want.

Another question arises: What's the point of switching? Well, each 'driver' has her unique controlling stats and skills, which you can make the best use out of certain situations. Hence, switching between the two girls allows you to diversify your strategy. Mastering the skills of all 20 characters will be crucial to make you and your partner the final winners.

Additionally, Gensou SkyDrift features over 15 maps for you to race with your friends, each has different set-ups as well as upbeat soundtracks. However, there's one similar thing between every map - the magical hoops. Passing through every one of them will grant you a temporary speed boost as well as fill up your mana bar.

Later when your mana bar is full, you can use it to create havoc on your opponents with the characters' specific attacking spells. Or if you're leading and are the target of other racers, use it for your defending abilities and stay on top of the race.

Last but not least, Gensou SkyDrift has totally three single-player modes (Story, Time Attack and Versus) plus a multiplayer option to race with your friends. Gensou SkyDrift will come out for PC via Steam and Switch on December 12. PlayStation 4 players will also receive the game at an unknown date in the first quarter of 2020.
