The upcoming PUBG update will be launched on August 4th on PC and August 12th on consoles. Players can experience it very soon this week. Besides, the scope-in speed, reload speed, and rate of fire will increase significantly. Meanwhile, DMRs will get a nerf in bullet drop and damage drop. In addition, QBZ's base damage increases from 41 to 42. The horizontal recoil of G36C and QBZ also decline.

#6. Sanhok 2.0 Updates

Back in E3, we're very surprised at Phil Spencer's reveals of CrossfireX - an insanely popular first-person shooter coming exclusively for Xbox One. We thought that it was a joke at that time, but Phil has proved that he's the man of his words. In X019, Microsoft was very excited to announce that CrossfireX will be available for Xbox One very soon!

Together with this announcement, it also gave us a reveal trailer of the game as well, and it's freaking beautiful! I don't know why they named this gameplay teaser "Black Widow", but I'm not complaining either.

About CrossfireX

CrossfireX is the brainchild of three phenomenal teams - Smilegate Entertainment - the independent developer in Seoul who has spent decades to craft incredible multiplayer FPS game for the Crossfire franchise; Remedy Entertainment - the narrative expert from Finland that has blown the soul winds to many great titles such as Alan Wake and Control, and of course - Xbox - the one helping those developers bringing their masterpiece to Microsoft's console.

“We are extending support to the two best and most popular game controllers available”, Apple’s CEO Tim Cook said at WWDC event occurring in early June this year. WWDC, or Worldwide Developers Conference, is a conference held annually by Apple Inc. to showcase its new software and technologies.

According to Apple’s announcement, Apple TV is the first one compatible with the controllers, including Microsoft Xbox One S and Playstation 4. After that, they will extend their support to iOS 13 and MacOS Catalina. In March 2019, Apple started providing gaming services on Apple TV and some other devices, with the introduction of Apple Arcade. It is not clear how much Apple charge for using the service, but Apple Arcade will be officially launched in the fall.

A little bit of history

Microsoft Flight Simulator (or shorthands like FS or  MSFS) is a franchise of programs of flight simulator. However, they have been marketing them as video games for Microsoft Windows. The earlier titles also went to Macintosh and MS-DOS operating systems. They say it is among the best-known, most comprehensive, and longest-running flight simulator for general consumers out there. At the moment, the PC developer of They Are Billions, Numantian Games is doing the finishing touches to release a story-driven campaign for the game. In fact, this is an addition to the game from the Early Access players on Steam.

The campaign’ name is The New Empire. It will arrive to PC on Jun 18^th as a free update. In addition, that update would also introduce a few new Survival maps: The Deep Forest & The Caustic Lands. The Caustic Lands, as the hardest map in They Are Billions will truly test your wits and skills. Meanwhile,  The Deep Forest is here as a brand-new warmup map for the newcomers.

At last, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (yes, just Modern Warfare) trailer is out after all the teasing videos and all COD social media pages go dark. This installment is going to the soft reboot of the 2007 game instead of being a new battle royale game like Call of Duty: Black Ops 4.

Infinity Ward confirmed that this game is taking place in a different world as the old Call of Duty: Modern Warfare trilogy, but it will have some familiar faces like Captain Price. Although, the voice actor for him is different.

As mentioned, the new Call of Duty game will have a single-player campaign as the traditional COD games. The story involves Russian and their actions to the Middle East. The enemies will include an ultranationalist group supporting the terrorist with attacking big cities. There are 2 parts in the campaign. First, you will play as a  Tier 1 officer, a special forces soldier, and after that, you will play as a rebel fighter in the Middle East. The parallel gameplay will give players a more objective view on the story instead of painting a clear picture of what is good or bad.

The game wants its reputation back as a controversial game that combines the theatrics of actions movie and questions the motive of the war raised by politicians. We have not forgotten disturbing moments in Modern Warfare 2 when players were forced to kill civilians in an airport or when players were put in the situation of nuclear attacks' victims. This game will be the one to gain back the love of players for the greatness of the single-player campaign of COD that the franchise has lost over the years.

Multiplayer mode will be a part of the game too, but no specific details have been revealed by the developers. One thing we know so far is that your progression in the campaign mode will carry over to the other mode. Meaning that you can enjoy playing multiplayer mode and unlocking new killstreaks, perks, and weapons at the same time. Moreover, the game will support cross-play across all platforms, so if you own a PC and your friend own a PS 4, you guys can still play with each other in multiplayer mode. The season pass is also removed so players can experience all the new maps after the game release.

Modern Warfare was developed by a new, purpose-built engine, that gives the game an incredible level of detail. Photogrammetry, a method that is used to scan objects in real life to create a digital version of it, was used a lot in the game, so you will find items, weapons, and buildings in the game look very realistic.

According to Minkoff, there will be many dark moments in the game as it's necessary to portrait the complex reality in modern conflict.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will be releasing on PC, PS 4, and Xbox One on October 25th.

Phoenix Lab has invested a lot of money for the last two years with the hope for releasing Dauntless. Being developed by legendary names such as Blizzard, Dauntless is trying hard to compete with Fortnite or the giant PUBG. Dauntless fully showed up early this week when it pushes to the two most favorite consoles Xbox One and PS4. And supposing that its’ server problems get under control, it can begin to catch up through some signs.

Obviously, summer is the busiest time of the year for game companies, especially for new multiplayer titles to come out, and old multi games to further expand. You can imagine, are there any better ways to spend the long, lazy days of summer than enjoying the world of multi games?

As far as I could recall, my summer games were all around top-notch multiplayer games. Back in 1997, I spent hours on X-wing vs TIE fighter using the poor quality 56k modem. 2002 was the time when I had to work late really often, since I spent the whole day on WarCraft 3.

Recently, it is summer that the most-favored multiplayer games appear. Rocket League was an example. It showed up in July 2015, which is perfectly timed: how amazing the game is, being available at zero price for PS+ subscribers. We all could see that the game appeared in the most peaceful time of producers’ annual release plan. Not just gamers, streamers and journalists as well all craved for something better for their games list, so a new phenomenon appeared.

One year later, Blizzard brought Overwatch to the community just before Memorial Day. Overwatch is so decent that Blizzard can release its product anytime during the year, yet Blizzard still chose summer. And with no major giants to compete with apart from The Division, Overwatch quickly became a favored title, which later dominated the gaming community for the entire year.

It's easy to recognize that, each summer normally features one to two multi games, which received a huge amount of attention from the community. In 2013, it was Dota 2 (enough, right?); in Summer 2014, it was Hearthstone with its first DLC and the sudden explosion of CCGs; in 2015, Rocket League was on the plate; in 2016, there were Pokemon Go and Fortnite. Battle Royale’s Fortnite was a huge success last year, and in March 2018, Drake popularly took part in Ninja’s stream. Thanks to the success in launching on Nintendo Swith (June), it was largely favored during summer

Soon, following the success of Pokemon Go, Niantic will introduce the all new real-world interacting game Harry Potter Wizards Unite. Of course, Niantic will expect the similar success to what happened 2 years back, when players rushed into Central Park searching for rare Pokémon. Similarly, Apex Legends is also potential to be summer’s favorite, only when it improves significantly for S2. Unlike Epic Games’ Fortnite, the Battle Royale title from Respawn slowed down due to the notorious release of Battle Pass as well as a long period of time between updates (it is still a good game in general though)

Back to Dauntless, its success really depends on the game’s capability itself. At the moment, many gamers with curious eyes, who has just got out of schools, are determining whether Dauntless is able to fill in their blanks this summer or not. It is possibly too simple for making a considerable effect. All things considered, battles and simple mechanics ain’t the ingredients for a decent endgame.

Yet, this is prolly the right moment for Phoenix Lab to have a gamble, when Dauntless shows up and compete against giant multiplayer titles. Earlier, Dauntless has to face with gamers’ current school years and spring heavyweight blockbusters. And it would risk being an opponent to Iceborne and Call of Duty if released at the end of the year.

Releasing in summer can’t be 100% success, yet it’s totally worth trying as a lot of gamers are both bored already and hence, hungry for a new meal, so as to help them get over a 3-month-summer vacation. We all have to wait to see whether Dauntless has a similar destiny to former summer-successful titles or not.

• Little Friends: Dogs & Cats [May 28, Switch]: We haven’t seen Nintendo brought us a “Nintendogs” or “Nintencats” game for a while, yet Little Friends can make our boredom of virtual pets insufficiency quite decently. You are in charge of some cats and dogs of your selection in a decent house at the suburbs, where they live together in harmony. You get it just right, cats and dogs live under a same roof. No major over-excitement (you know it). Everything looks calm and nice.

• Oxygen Not Included [May 28, PC]: Being in early access mode for quite some times, Klei's simulating game about space colonizing is finally ready to come to gamers’ devices (and suck out all the oxygen of their rooms). You are the commander of an Earth’s colony with full of interplanetary settlers, who are having the experience of being space volunteers. You know, where is all the fun without some “dangers” (strange viruses, bad atmosphere, terrible depression, extremely low temperatures, etc.?)

• Trover Saves the Universe [May 31, PC]: The father of Rick and Morty, Justin Roiland, is offering an adventure using VR to save the entire universe. To be precise, you will have to save two cute puppies in order to be the savior of the universe, both of which had been taken by a space boss, who is using them as his pair of eyes. Trover Saves the Universe escalates the term “puppy dog eyes” to a whole frightening level.

We are in the era of PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and Xbox One console. This era has been long, with millions of console units and billions of video game copies sold. But this era is close to the end of itself, with Sony introducing then the next console for the PlayStation console series.

There have been many great game series being born in this era, but we also have to say goodbye to many great game series as well. Down here we have gathered the list of top 10 video game series we have seen dying in this era of PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and Xbox One console.

Number 10: Mass Effect

The Mass Effect series by Bioware game developer takes our tenth slot in this list. This series was once loved so much by the gaming community, but it was brutally killed by the great failure of Mass Effect Andromeda. Before the game was launched, the facial expression and the animations of this title has already successfully turned off the hype of fans. After the game was released, every single player of the game shared one same question: who had the balls to create this title because Mass Effect Andromeda was a true slap to the whole series. And the situation even got worse when the next game of Bioware – Anthem – got even more criticism than Mass Effect Andromeda.

Number 9: Killzone

The ninth spot in our list belongs to Killzone series by Guerrilla Games developer, with Sony as the publisher of the game. To be fair, this series has lived longer than most gamers’ expectation. Killzone: Shadowfall was the last title of this game series, and it was released on the PS4 platform. It was okay, with great graphics feature, but that was it. The game was boring, and the result of this title partly pushed Sony toward the single player games with great plots and players’ experience like The Last of Us, Days Gone and God of War. So that was the end of Killzone game series.

Number 8: Crackdown

We probably do not have to explain a lot the reason why Crackdown (Sony as the publisher) series takes our eighth spot in our list. This game series had a great place in the gaming community, but then the time of open world games came. Crackdown 2 was good, but the delay of the release of Crackdown 3 killed the series. Released on 15 February 2019 but Crackdown 3 remains it out of date design, and the game does not offer much innovation, in comparison with two previous parts of the game series. Perhaps there is no place for Crackdown anymore.

Number 7: Mafia

The seventh spot of our list is for Mafia series by 2K Games. This game series witnessed quite the same problem as Crackdown series: a good second part, but a boring third part. Mafia 2 featured a greatly empty open world as the background for an incredible plot. But Mafia 3’s plot was just okay (not too bad, but just okay), and the open world in Mafia 3 was boring.

Number 6: Deus Ex

Listing Deus Ex in our sixth slot of this list is heartbreaking, but we have to. This game series has been killed by many reasons. First, Square-Enix set ridiculously high sale targets for the fourth part of this series - Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, and of course, the game could not make it. Second, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided suffered a lot of criticism for the micro-transactions, as this game is a single player game. Third, the pre-order of this title had some problems. Last, the team of this game series is currently working on the Avengers Project. Perhaps we will never see this series anymore.

Number 5: Dead Rising

The fifth spot in our list is a quite disappointing name - Dead Rising - if you look at the whole life cycle of this game series. It had two first great parts, but then the third and the fourth part were both exclusive for Xbox One, and they suffer poor sale result because Xbox One has a poor sale result too. And this series could not grow up as well. This zombie-based game series by Capcom began with Frank West killing zombies in a mall, and it finished with Frank West killing zombies in a mall.

Number 4: Infamous

In our fourth spot, we have a retired, not dead game series: Infamous by Suck Punch Productions. With the third part of the series - Infamous: Second Son – released in 2014 and the DLC First Light released a short time afterward, this game showed off the power of PlayStation 4 console. We all thought we would not hear about Suck Punch Productions anymore, but then this game developer announced Ghost Of Tsushima project. And perhaps that is it for Infamous series.

Number 3: Dead Space

You can say that the game series in our third place - Dead Space – has died in the era of Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. I can agree with that, but then I believe the true death of this series was in 2017 when Visceral Games – the developer of Dead Space – was shut down. After the horrible Dead Space 3, EA tried to have Visceral Games made a Star Wars title, and the failure of that title put an end on Visceral Games and Dead Space game series.

Number 2: Metal Gear Solid

We had some difficulty with the second and the first slot, but then we decided to put Metal Gear Solid series in this second spot because its story was a little bit less painful than the game series in our number one spot. This game series was kill due to the breakup of Konami and Hideo Kojima. After the release of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, people discovered that Konami and Hideo Kojima did not have the same vision. Hideo Kojima wanted big games, but Konami only wanted cheap games. This breakup resulted in a painful death for this game series. There have been some more titles for the series Metal Gear Solid, but they just all proved that Hideo Kojima was right.

Number 1: Silent Hill

Yes, the story of the game series in this first spot of our list was really sad and painful, and it was also the results of the breakup we mentioned above. Before Hideo Kojima left Konami, we even had a fantastic demo gameplay - PT - for the title Silent Hills. This is surely one of the best gameplay demos in the history of video games. But then the breakup happened, and we will never ever see Silent Hills again, nor PT.

Yes, we all know that being a gamer is expensive, just like any other hobbies. Besides the money for your PC, consoles, and mobile, you will have to pay a certain amount of money for your games. Yes, of course, we do have the option of torrent games, but that option is for PC mostly, and not all games can be cracked.

So, if you are a gamer with a tight budget, below is the list of a few games that are currently being sold for less than $10 dollar (less than Rs 700)

BioShock Infinite

Platform: PC

BioShock Infinite is the last part of the BioShock series, and it certainly was among the few last great games on Xbox 360 and PS3 platform. Released in March 2013, BioShock Infinite is still worth to play now because of the game’s enRapturing steampunk setting, the wonderful way of telling story, and its twisted and haunting ending. Skyrim: Legendary Edition

It would be really shameful to call ourselves a PC gamer without a copy of Skyrim in our PC. But sometimes, life is hard for all of us. Rage 2: May 14 (PC, PS4 & Xbox One)

Rage 2 is the most surprising name to appear among the May releases. The game is in charge by both Id Software as well as Avalanche Studios. Avalanche Studios has many years of experience in crafting chaotic open world, in addition to special effects and vehicle combat as their specialty. At the same time, Id Software made a name for themselves for fantastic work in making first-person shooters.

Team Sonic Racing: May 21 (PC, PS4, Switch & Xbox One)

This is the third sequel in the ultimate series of Sonic kart racing. For this title, the developers focus on its cooperative play aspect. That being said, you need to work as a team and share power-ups to win races.

Total War: Three Kingdoms: May 23 (PC)

From Sega & Creative Assembly, Total War: Three Kingdoms is returning this month. The game will take you back to the past, through quintessential historical conflict that you saw in popular games and films. Total War: Three Kingdoms featuring two game modes, Romance and Classic. The former will base on supernatural character tropes from classic novels. On the other hand, the latter will focus on realistic warfare, which is similar to previous entries of the Total War series.
