Update Tier Of New Sumeru 5-Star Characters Since Genshin Impact 3.0

There are many new 5-star characters released in Genshin Impact since update 3.0. Many characters are excellent while some of them are still underrated. Check out the tier of new Sumeru 5-star characters since update 3.0 here.

I. Tier-S Characters

Nahida is the only Tier-S character in Sumeru. As a Catalyst wielder, all the attacks of Nahida are infused with the Dendro element. It makes her a perfect Dendro enabler in this game now. Moreover, the Dendro Archon is also a core member of various Dendro-based teams.

II. Tier-A Characters

There are four grade-A characters released after Update 3.0. These 5-star units often take up important roles in Genshin Impact teams.

• Nilou

Nilou is one of the most beautiful characters in Genshin Impact now. She became the representative of the game to appear in collaboration events. Moreover, Nilou is a strong and useful Hydro character who can trigger tons of supercharged Dendro Cores in Nahida's team.

Moreover, it's easier to build Nilou than other Dendro Core buffers. You only have to equip HP-boosting artifacts for Nilou and maximize her HP index.

• Wanderer

Wanderer is also a strong DPS character in the game now. This Anemo character can play in various teams. His elemental burst can deal tons of DMG to enemies in a large area, especially with buffs from Faruzan C6.

• Alhaitham

Alhaitham can take up the main Dendro DPS role in Nahida's teams. But he is not as flexible as the Dendro Archon. Alhaitham only takes effect and deals DMG to enemies when he is active. That's why this Dendro DPS is not a grade-S character.

• Baizhu

Baizhu does not come from Sumeru but he still appears in this list as he made his debut as a playable character after the Sumeru update. His shield and healing skills make him helpful and essential in many teams.

III. Tier-B Characters

There are three grade-B characters released after the Sumeru update.

• Dendro Traveler

After the Sumeru update, the Traveler can make resonance with the Dendro element. The Dendro Traveler surpasses many 5-star units from Sumeru, such as Tignari to become one of the best Dendro characters. You can use this character as an energy battery for DPS characters with high demand for energy.

• Tighnari

Tighnari is one of the three earliest Dendro characters in Genshin Impact. But his DMG output soon disappointed various players. Therefore, players quickly forgot him when Nahida, Alhaitham, and Baizhu became playable.

• Cyno

Cyno is one of the most underrated characters that many Genshin Impact characters regretted pulling. His kit is difficult to play and his elemental burst has a long cool-down duration.

IV. Tier-D Characters

Dehya is rated tier-D in Genshin Impact for many reasons. The headstrong mercenary has an impressive story, making her a fan-favorite character. But her kit is not highly estimated by most players. She is weaker than most of the previous Pyro characters. Therefore, it's hard to choose a position in their concrete teams.
